how do i replace input shaft bearing

ok so i read all the how to's and didn't find any thing about how to replace the input shaft bearing so i was wondering if any one could tell me what i need to know to do this that would be awesome

Start by downloading the FSM from HERE. Make sure you read up good, then take your time.

 

If you can, have your camera ready to take heaps of pics and do a bit of a write up for the rest of us.

so if i replace the bearings will the noise go away because i can get the bearings at orielliy auto parts for like 60bucks please let me know thanks

If that is the bearing that is worn...

 

Generally, people will replace all the bearings and syncros usually bought in a kit. If you are already in there, may as well do it all.

 

Here is an idea for pricing, looks like the bearings are $25 there...
