cigarette lighter fuse control AC operation?

I was messing with the pathfinder and checking if my cigarette lighter was working and pulled the fused. Fused was fine but when I pulled it out, the AC clutch disengaged (AC was on). Put the fuse back and the clutch re-engaged.

Yes, things have been going downhill for my pathfinder lately.

As it should, they are on the same socket in the fuse block, protected by a 15amp fuse thumbsup.gif

EDIT: The AC is ALSO listed on a second 10amp socket with the Audio, Clock, Illumination Lamp and Power Antenna

Also on a third one... another 10amp
