Hey guys and gals, I have the chance to get a body lift for cheap, but its for a '97-'02 jeep TJ PART#9375. I was wondering if it would work on my D-21 hardbody?? Its brand new and he only wants $75 for it!.. so if it would work i would save a nice bit of cash. anyone have any ideas?

Note: my truck is off-road only, and i can remove the box if need be...

Does it even have the right number of spacers?? Does it have metric bolts of the right length and pitch?? My guess is a big fat No Way!!

A new Nissan Pathfinder lift kit is about $150. I recommend going that route... ;)

thanks for the info B, but its for a D21 not a pathy.

i do think it had the right amount of spacers. im not sure on the pitch of the bolts, i think they were 6 1/2" long. Anyway, its only 75 bux, so i thought it might be worth it.

The one on 4x4parts.com is $188.00, is that the one you were thinking of? i might get that one.

Damn it!! Quit confusing me!!! P...

Ok, sorry about that. Yes, that is the source I meant. It is more expensive, but there is quite a bit more included in the kit too. To me, just having the right bolts, spacers and other hardware is worth it. How long and how much trouble to fab all those other pieces to save $100?? That's just the way I look at things.

I really would stick to a kit that was specific to my vehicle...

You'd be cheaper making your own proably than buying that AND getting the hardware you actually need and can use.

ive thought about that, but not sure where to get the lift blocks. Ive heard of hockey pucks, but i dont know how good that would be. im always up for suggestions.

Well if the Jeep kit has 8 large diameter blocks and 4 small diameter blocks then it has the blocks you need (doubt it). You would need (IIRC) 6 bolts with the proper threads, the rest are nut and bolt, so as long as those others will fit the hole you can use any (metric or SAE).
