well i own Nissan Terrano 1, 1994 year old, it has 2.4 litre engine

when i want to turn on fron axle there is Only H than N and Then 4L

what that means ? i dont have 2WD ? i have only 4WD ? what does That H means ? and then N neutral and 4L must be 4WD with Differencial block yes ?

Sorry for my bad English, i am from Republic OF Georgia :)

Marge, maybe take a picture of your shift lever for evidence of this? I've never heard of a WD21 with full time 4WD and it appears that many others haven't as well.

It's always possible that outside of North America it was an option that 99% of owners opted out of...

Alright, now the next question is how many times does that lever move? Someone before you might have just found a ball that fit and stuck it on there. It should have 4 positions: all the way forward is 2HI, pull back one for 4HI, push DOWN and back one for neutral, and then back again for 4LO. If it truly only moves into 3 positions like is pictured, then you sir, have a one-off novelty...

i am the first owner of Full Time 4WD WD21 :D

so i will check it Sunday and then post here what will happen :)

OR the previous owner was an idiot, and THOUGHT they were increasing gas mileage. I'd be very surprised to hear that it was full time 4wd.

I have, though, been wrong once or twice before.
