Manifold heat shield rattle

Recently the bottom of the heat shield on the right exhaust manifold rusted off and disappeared and now I'm getting this annoying rattle every time I'm at a stop sign in D. If I put it in N the rattle goes away but anyway its still annoying. Is there a quick and cheap fix for this? I need it to last a few months before I get headers and a better exhaust system.

Rip whats left of it completly off or big friggin hose clamp.

hose clamp around the other 1/2 thats rattling. tighten to hold it from rattling

Just take it off, and make sure all wires and hoses don't go near it, unless you have headers, they are pretty much useless, which with headers, who cares let them show. Either way, when mine break, they are off for sure. Can someone say "Scrap Metal"?

I ripped mine off right away when it started to rust slitly so i knew for sure i would be able to just unbolt it. I dont have any hot foot problems at all

Having this annoying issue!! Pics would be awesome so I know where to put the clamps lol

I had this problem also. Grabbed some metal zip ties from home depot and wrapped them around the shield. It worked for a little bit and then came back. Got pissed and just ripped the scrap metal off because bolts had rusted through. Good luck.
