Calmini Panhard rod bracket install

Hey guys can somebody please tell me if I have to jack my truck up and prop the rear diff to install the bracket for the panhard rod? or can I do it with the truck on the ground and just unbolt the panhard rod and install the bracket?

Im thinking that with the truck on the ground on all four theres some load on that panhard rod..Any help is greatly appreciated :coffee!:

I'd jack up the frame for some wiggle room to get the pan hard rod off and onto the extension.

you should be able to do it right on the ground without a jack or stands or anything

Thanks guys. By the way a newbie question here, Is this bracket going to level out my rear? its sitting a bit lower on the drivers side right now and its been like that since I raised it 2 years ago. i used ford coil springs and was cut exactly at the same height prior to install..Could it be that one of the springs is shot?

That could be your issue.....

 

From what i know about a panhard bar, the way it is mounted, and without a proper dropbracket, it would end up pulling up on the drivers side possibly, but thats why they make brackets so you can lower it down, and get the proper angle...

and if you still have the issue after putting the bracket on, and its not too much (say .5-1.5") you could probably fix it with some simple spacers

It might. It could be that the T-bars are uneven and that is part of the lean, you may want to check that.

If your bushings are shot on the panhard rod, it could be giving you the tilt, but after 2 years that should have resolved it's self and leveled out...

The bushings were replaced with energy suspension bushings when I did the lift 2 years ago and im sure the torsion bars where adjusted perfectly ..Thats the first thing I measured after doing the lift and waited a few weeks for everything to settle and measured it again..just now measured it again and theyre even in the front.
