bumper relocation

Hey I just did a 2" body lift does anyone have pictures of what theyve done to relocate the front bumper?

The kit should have some gold-colored plates that mount between the frame and bumper brackets to raise it up 2". They're not exactly the strongest, but they will raise it up where it'll look right.

yeah i used that guide but i made the body lift myself, alot cheaper to buy poly and cut it up and buy bolts. just thought some people might of cut, lifted and welded their original bumper.

Some have welded the spacers on to the bumper brackets. I know mine sags all the time(used the 4 offset plates in the kit), but I've never bothered with trying to redo it better.

where did you get the poly from?

I got it from a industrial plastics store and it comes as tubing costs a third of the kit, but I live in australia.

king's lift "brackets" are 2 pieces of metal about 8" long, with 3 holes in it that mounts vertical to the stock (horizontal) bracket...... yeah, uber technical huh? lol

I had someone tack weld the brackets... those damn things are flimsy and didn't hold the bumper up worth a crap...
