I just replaced a #6 injector, took my time with assembly thought I had everything hooked up properly and even double checked. Started it up and it ran like complete crap, could hardly keep it running. A whole bunch of white smoke started coming out of the exhaust and then water. Scratched my head and realized I put on a couple of hoses wrong. I put the charcoal vacuum line on the water outlet ( they are real close) like a dummy. What ever was a vacuum line and wherever that goes got full of coolant. I checked the oil for water didn't find any. But, the smoke came out for about 15 min. of slow driving. Now the smoke stopped but, it runs like crap. What could I of effected?

Well, I am very happy to say it's fixed. I'm not entirely sure how but, it is. I pulled all plugs to check for fouling and they checked out good. maybe I had a loose plug wire or something. After all the parts I changed and cleaned the system then cleaned again. My truck runs like a raped ape now. See "hesitation woes" topic for update.

Ew, ouch. Pull the plugs and crank it over to make sure you don't have excess water inside. The 02 sensor may be fouled due to burnt coolant or the plugs may need touching up to make sure they're OK...
