Having just been through a tragedy in our town where 3 kids were killed on the next block, I know what it feels like to walk by a place that something like that has happened. Not nice, thats for sure. Worse when you can see the crime scene from your back porch :(

Was she Indian (I mean "dot" not "feather" Indian)

I have no idea, I didn't know her (don't go to Carleton, I go to Algonquin)

 

Kinda eerie when I found out.

 

But I also recall another girl who was taken and killed after her shift at a wendy's, my dad and I were driving in the r50, actually, to show it to our family because we just bought it. While on our way we saw the wendy's she worked at, and there was a sign that said "NOW HIRING" on the side of the building. I think they found the body, maybe that same week. I remember we were taking the r50 back to the dealer for some stuff and you could see the police digging in the ditches and on some city hiking trails.

My house old house where i was living then.. is in the blue.. her body found in the red...

And the green line was the road i always walked with my sisters to the ocean while she was missing...
