94LE-BlackEmerald
I'm planning on installing a transmission cooler and flushing the fluid. I searched around and didn't see much info on what transmission fluid I should use. I'm sure it's been discussed, but I couldn't find the thread. So anyway, what transmission fluid should I use in my 94 Auto?

daftpup
That's compatible Simon but wasn't there issues with some Pathys regarding occasional rough shifting and how NissanMatic fluid would remedy that? Did this only apply to the R50's? Edited November 11, 2007 by daftpup
GrimGreg
I was told the B&M "trick shift" is not good for our trannys, forget the reasoning.

Did this only apply to the R50's? Never heard of that. And I just had mine done with Dexron III. Shifting fine.
