Pathy Lift On A Budget

i'm new to this site and having a little trouble figuring all this out. please bare with me. i own my first pathfinder, and i fregggginnn' love it. 1988 2-door, 3.0L, 5 spd. i'm a 4th year apprentice auto tech. and would love to hear from people who know these little suv's inside & out. help!!!!

Get a 3" body lift, then a set of junkyard Jeep Grand Cherokee front coil springs(make sure you measure them before buying, you need the .56" or .58" wire diameter coils for 3" of lift) for the rear, a set of Rough Country upper control arms for the front and some shocks/steering stabilizer in a package from 4WheelParts.com. Voila. 33's.

 

(You'll still probably have to trim your fenders though)

Yep. As 88 said for the lifts. That'll run you about $300 max.

 

But you'll need to think about aftermarket steering after running 33's. You'll kill stock components in no time.
