Npora Serch Feature Not Working?

I think this was addressed already. Do a search for it... (ok ok... that was mean)

the word "thermostat" is pretty common. I think it may even appear in someone's signature. If you expand the search and get more options, you can use more terms or narrow down the dates or topics.

Even though the results look like they are just the most recent posts, if you do a close comparison, you will probably see that they are not. Additionally, if you open any of the topics and scroll through, the searched word will be highlighted.

Is there something specific you are looking for about thermostats? I have a 95 as well and have been ass-deep in the engine more than once.

lol k9... nice job man.. :D

anyway, yeah the feature was never all too good.. the best way to search around here is to go into the specific area (garage or pre 95, in this case) and just look through all the topics. make sure to change the dates as the default isn't that that far in the past.

what do you need to know about the t-stat?

She runs fine, but the temp guage never gets very high. I think this might be a bad thermostat. The part is cheap, I think I can do the labor myself - I was looking for a set of directions or something like that.

Thanks

also - I can't upload a pic! It is within size limitations, don't know what is wrong.

a bad thermo would either cause overheating (stuck closed) or take a long time to heat up (stuck open). mine reads less than half on the hottest day. just a feature of the temp sensor. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it but if you really want to change your thermo, it's not too terribly hard, just a pain to get to

If the gauges goes a roughly a 1/4 of the way up during normal driving its fine, If your wheeling I think (someone correct me) it may go up to almost half because of the lack of airflow. Or at least it does for me.

searching: try more than one word... or being more specific... it is pretty finicky.

pics: I would try hosting pics on a website - if you dont have your own, try www.photobucket.com, or www.imageshack.com -- then place the image address in the image tags -- -ie
