Oliver
Not a bad idea for offroading? Or a stupid ploy for dolts? Flowmaster Super 44 off-road diamondplate
GrimGreg
Old news, but not BS. They are sturdier than a standard muffler.
Slick
if i smack my muffler, i can guarantee i'm in deep doo-doo and the muffler will be the least of my worries
mws
yeah, I'm from the "tuck it and forget it" school as well. The space for the muffler is pretty well protected, and you could buy 3 Dynomax mufflers for the price of one of those....
Oliver
Yep, I wouldn't spend that kinda scratch on a muffler. Still, seemed kind neat.
yozsi
yea, if i smaked my muffler, i would be more worried about my driveshaft. plus, i think the muffler is the least vunerable of the exhuast, its my tail pipe that has been owned more than once. GrimGreg
The crossover pipe up front is pretty low. I tore it out of the Y junction on my 93 once. There are some vehicles that have a rather exposed muffler, which these are good for. With ours, you would have to land on a pointed rock to tag it with it in the stock location.
