Cargo Area Scratched

Does anybody know how to fix scratches on plastic or rubber?. i just scratched the back of the third row sits on my new Pathy '07.

Replace the scratched parts? I had PRISTINE cargo area panels until I let a buddy drive it...he tossed a big ugly steamer-type box in the back and the metal corners about ruined the sides in there. Arsehole. Anyway. Other than replacing, I can't think of anything.

They're battle scars man. It's the cargo area, it's supposed to be used for stuff like that, and scratches are just part of the territory.

depending on how deep they are, you can try a heat gun. it will make light scratches and stress marks dissapear.

A shiny new NPORA sticker will cover that right up.

Either replace it with new or ef'n deal with it. Damn crybaby!

I stopped worrying about scratches long ago. but.... if you discover a good approach to removing them on plastic, please post it so that others who visit these boards may benefit from your experiences.

 

now... I'm gonna go throw a load of firewood in the back of my pathy just for the hell of it
