HOWDIE ALL, FROM THE GREAT STATE OF POTATOES,

The other night I was sittin' in Jack n' the box's drive through when abruptly my rpm's start fluctating from about 900 to 1900. It did that for about 1/2 hour drivin' time. What the hell happened. Is this a pre-cursor to a mechanical failure i.e. fuel pump or is it something in the gas? Considerin' it was a cool night and A the gas tank was only a 1/8 full. What ya think?

Thanks

Yeah, as 88 said....mine does that periodically when my MAF wiring is cranky. When it happens next, go jiggle the MAF wiring (the electrical connector just past the airbox) and see if the idle steadies.
