Guest EDMONTON PATHFINDER
Just wondering if anyone on here has imported a vehical from Outback Imports? Wanting to find any information on them before taking the leap and buying one from them. Any bit would be helpful. thanks
Evan
I personally haven't, but from all appearances, they seem to be about 100X more professional than any of the other import companies that I have seen out there. I'd say it's a good way to go. By the way, pm me your phone number, we should go out for a beer one night, as I'm in Edmonton as well. Cheers, Evan. fishead
Terrano's are pretty sweet, but are you sure you don't wanna keep saving and buy a Pinzgauer? I should quit my job, get out of Vancouver, move to Edmonton, and join you guys for beer. I make $50K, but can't afford a 3 bedroom townhouse Know anyone in Alberta looking for an electronics geek? Guest EDMONTON PATHFINDER
The reason I'm looking at the terrano is mostly the diesel. I just love my pathy but would enjoy the tourque of a diesel. Plus Outback says they only import 100% rust free. Another problem with my 94 pathy. Plus does anyone know how much hp the terrano has? Thanks for all the replies
GrimGreg
If you are going that far, might as well get a Patrol.
Guest EDMONTON PATHFINDER
I was looking at them but would much rather the pathy, and kind of looking at the Toyota Landcruiser now to. Any opinions would be greatly thanked
Evan
No Beers? My personal vote would be the landcruiser, 81 series, but I'd only want a manual tranny, turbo diesel. I've loved those things forever, and if I were to import something, that would be it. But the terrano would be a great way to go as well.

Thanks for all the replies HP on a diesel is almost meaningless, it is the torque that counts. Good luck in your search.
nige
i've checked out that website a couple of times too. I'd like a G-Wagen from them, but it almost makes more sense to drive down to the states and pick up a 70-80's model with the gas engine. Parts will be more availible for them and it might be easier to do some of the work on it yourself.
nige
this was the other website i periodically check: Terra2 Imports They're the ones that usually have the g-wagons
