Well, if the pic is of what he is selling, it isn't a CV for our trucks. Looks like a 2wd half shaft.

 

Otherwise for the price + shipping you can probably get one locally for close to the same.

cheapest one ive seen so far is at napa for $110 and a used one from the junkyard is $65.

 

I might just go with napa for that lifetime warranty on it.Im planning on keeping the truck for a long time :aok:

You know, rebuilding your own CV's is real easy if the internals aren't ruined by sand and dirt before you get around to fixing them. Simply pull all the parts off, clean them well (you could degrease the needle bearings inside the tripod joints, but if the grease still looks semidecent in there I'd leave it alone, just cause it's a PITA to re-grease them) and reassemble with new boots and grease. Tighten down the clamps and they're rebuilt, ready to go another 5 years. I've done three or four of my own already.

88Path my question is how can you tell if its rebuildable?

 

Not quite sure what the needle bearing inside the tripod joint :shrug:
