Hey guys WAVEY

I just received this item today and it seems to be the wrong set. It specifies that its for a VG30 VG30E motor but after opening the box a few wires are too short and a few are longer.Theyre all numbered

I just went by the motor which is VG30 on the 93 pathy isnt it?

Thanks

NISSAN 300ZX (1984 to 1989) 3 V6 VG30

NISSAN 300ZX (1984 to 1989) 3 V6 VG30T

NISSAN 300ZX 2+2 (1984 to 1989) 3 V6 VG30

NISSAN MAXIMA (1985, 1986) 3 V6 VG30E

hm.. no pathfinder to be found...... the maxima and pathy blocks are the same, but i dunno bout the intakes.. the wires are not all the same length. the back wires are much longer with uber long boots....... got a pic of them out of the box?

and a 93 pathy is a VG30E ;)

Hi Slick. I guess VG30E on the pathy is different on the maximas.Number 6 wires is about 3 inches short.Theyre all numbered so im going by the numbers on the plug wires :D

Even If I try to match them lenght per lenght without going by the number its just not going to fit

There is also one wire that has a different end on it.The boot is shorter

Heres some pics

You should probably take into account that the Maxima is FWD, too. Not that the engine is much different but the routing must be quite different, apparently. The VG30E was used in about five different vehicles(at least) from 87-95 and they didn't change much.

Those look more like the VG30I wires. The VG30Es are longer to get around the intake manifold. Usually if they are made specifically for the Pathy/HB E model then they will have the retainer pin points in the boot moulding also.
