My fan (cabin) is making a noise like something is caught in it and wont pass through. Sounds like a piece of paper or something. I was searching for this and failed to come across it. What is the best way to get to the motor? Do I have to pull the whole dash out? Or can I get to it through the Glove compartment opening? Please let me know, this thing is VERY annoying!!

Remove the glove box and open the fan/air box.. do it very soon. It sounds like you might have leaves, pine needles or other debris in there and as people have learned that can be deadly...

 

There is a resister in that box (for the fan speed control) and it gets extremely hot and can ignite flammables)

 

Clean it out at the very first chance you get... this is something that you need to make the time -thnkboutit-

Well hey, thanks a lot. I wasn't sure if it was accesible from inside the cab. To put you at ease, I am not using the fan at all. Once I heard that, I thought of the very thing you were warning me about. I am going to go pull it apart right now. Hopefully it's not to difficult.
