They can just type and a narrator says what you type, and types what the other person says. He called my house when he was at college, and told my mom that I was involved in drug trafficking at school... said it was the FBI and they had our house under surveilance and "we know your son is home from school and went into his room and is sleeping" (I just got off the computer from chatting with my brother)....
