jreidg3
I have a 2001 LE and my outer window trim is bubbling up at the corners. I assume this is rust underneath and just a matter of time until it breaks through. Can this be fixed / replaced? Anyone know the Nissan part numbers for the lower outer window sill? Prices? Any aftermarket alternatives (like Chrome pieces). Also - How do you remove these pieces? Thanks
Pezzy
I really only know the answer to one of your Q's Yes they can be replaced... I had my dealer do mine. I'd tell you the price, but it was done at the same time I had a pile of body work done.

Pathfinder_Rookie
$108 a piece in Canada. And They pop off straight up A stiff puddy knife did it for me. Get some touch up paint because it will scratch no way around that... that i know of. Oh and if u get new ones put greese on the inside prevents them from rusting out as fast. Hope this helps. Cheers!
jreidg3
wow $108 a piece. thats seems steep. I bought my truck from a lexus dealer certified used with a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. I am going to go back and complain and see if they will share some of the cost with me. if not ill look into getting the parts from Nissan and doing the job myself. Thanks for all the info! radar
I did my wiper arms already, have a fair amount of bubbling under the trim so a bit concerned what I will find when I peel the plastic off.
