Positive Battery Terminal

I need to replace my positive battery terminal. It has broken off the ring. I would put a terminal on but have the fusible link on my 95 Pathfinder. What have people done or how easy is it to buy the factory replace and put it in.

Besides that hole in inner fender under battery tray and battery tray rusted away. Easy job to replace battery turns into fun. Mud and water may be over for a while.

i think he means the loopy thing that you bolt to the batt post, if thats the case either put it back on or get another one and put it back together

see, just unbolt those 2 little bolts, place wire in 'seat thing' bolt bolts back down, place terminal back over post

on my 87 and 95...i went and got a terminal from napa that has the bolt going thru it to tighten it up and cut off the OEM ring so i had the connector for all the plugs still and ran the original bolt thru both of them (to keep the same size on pos and neg) and it works like a champ on both...if i remeber i can take a pic when i get home from work if u'd like

It would be easy if Nissan didn't put the fusible link connected to the terminal.

The ring was snapped on bottom and then snapped on top part.

Going to parts store to see what they got. Nissan wants 80.00 for whole positive wiring harness. No way.
