  1. heh, yeah you read my mind... and I can only guess the water/mud will find it's way up there a lot easier with this bumper??? be careful!
  2. what type of wheeling do you typically do?
  3. nope... like FUELER said, we have full time drive flanges... (check the stickied thread on lifting your truck in this section for more info on our hubs -- page one, XPLORX4)

That reminds me of ECXC a few years ago... before having the rear tire carrier on the X - so it was under the truck, we were offroading on a VERY muddy trail, on a VERY rainy day... We get thru a section when the girl behind us encounters a tire in the trail and radios asking about it. I am wondering WTF, how could that be? We just did that section... how did we not see a TIRE IN THE TRAIL?? so Hubby gets out, has a looksie... seems the mud was high enough that it pushed the tire up, and the chain must not have been tight enough, and it came thru, leaving the tire smack dab in the high center of the trail... on topic... wouldnt his truck have the space underneath just as those us us without rear tire carriers?
  5. I noticed that too... not a difficult thing to look up and get right... esp when advertising your product.
  6. I dont think Ive even heard of that...
  7. hmm... so you're saying our SUV's dont make good drag racers? Glad youre ok man...
  8. hmm... I found a spot on mine... was on the driver's side maybe 6" down from the top - there was a flat circle of metal screwed to the firewall... when I unscrewed it there was a hole to the inside - came out under the dash - high up in the foot well, although not very big - but I was able to run a few wires thru... it's not watertight now - not without some silicone...
  9. yeah except... SHUT UP!
  10. http://www.ehow.com/how_155790_remove-spoiled-milk.html I love google.
  11. yes, I did keep it on topic, thanks. I have a hitch for sale, the old stock one that I had before I replaced it with a class III hidden hitch.
  12. not too shabby... how does a winch fit in/with it?

Welcome to the board... I cant answer all of your Q's but other here will help you. either tire you have chosen is a good all round tire. I have the AT Revo Deulers on my pathy, and the Xterra sports the BFG AT/KO's in the winter. The BFG's def look more aggressive, if that's what you want. But looks are not everything, my Revos' kicked butt off road last year.
  14. ok, I've split alll the search related posts... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7202
  15. ok children... So, can we clean up & sticky the thread? yes, some people STILL wont find it, but at least it will be easier to find. Also, sticky a thread on using the search function??? We cant idiot proof the board, but we can at least be helpful.
  16. AHEM... on topic... I dunno, I like my hitch. It's a nice familiar sound when it hits off a rock. it's the other crashes and bangs offroad that make me nervous.
  17. I have that with my AC lift... I prefer to call it the tow truck look.
  18. as much as I'd love to have an NPORA tee, and how convenient they are... I dont necessarily suggest using Cafepress... their tees are kinda cheesy, basically an iron on transfer... dont know about thier other items...
  19. Ive always liked Pathfinders, from afar. Had my mind set that I'd never be able to afford one of THOSE. Even a few years ago we were at the ski hill, and Nissan was showing off the pathys, and you could take a test drive up and around the hill. OFF ROAD EVEN. OMG!! I was too afraid, made the hubby (before he was the hubby) drive. It wasnt until I was SICK SICK SICK of car shopping... I wanted a 4 door pickup, and it wasnt working out for me... so I was looking at *gasp* CARS... and also Xterra's. We went to our dealership to test drive an X and a pathy I had picked out of the Auto Trader... we drove the path first (I actually drove this time... haha). Part way thru we switched up, though I would let him have a try, and I had already decided that my shopping days were done and I was buying THIS ONE! Everytime I see my truck I am reminded how much I love it, I love how it looks. Everytime we go offroad and it gets me through I am reminded of how my truck kicks ass. YAY PATHY. *sniffle*
