yup, actually, mine was a hand me down, when the mister got a new phone. then we switched companies, and now I have a POS phone. (also free, and for good reason)

pretty snazzy! (I used to have that same phone!)

I've seen a couple homemade jobbies that dont look that bad, but I'm gonna have to be a princess (but that's ok, cuz I can!) and say I'd much prefer a clean factory type one... I'm pretty picky about how my truck looks.

Looking for pics of an R50 with the rear bumper cover off -- if anyone has any handy. Please and thank you. We're looking into fabbing up a new bumper/tire carrier in the next few weeks. (and 88, before you go on a tangent about why dont I just take the damn thing off myself, bugger off - I plan on it - but not for another week or so... I thought I would start the brain storming now. )

If ARB made one specifically for the R50's I'd be up for one too...

That is snowsnake's (although I think I mispelled his online name...) We're looking into fabbing a rear bumper and or tire carrier for my pathy this winter... there isnt anything that is already made for our trucks...

THe AC lift is supposed to give 2" lift - some guys are getting closer to 3"... I think I got about 3 in the back, and 2.5 in the front - which has since settled. I have 31's, but I know a lot of guys run 32's with no problems. 33's -- I believe I have heard of 2 guys who have wedged them in, but I dont know what type of addl mods they had to do - or if they have any rubbing issues... Procomp MT's -- My hubby did some research on these when he was tire shopping last spring -- he had read the MT's are great for offroad, but they are reallllllly soft, and wear super fast onroad. He went with the Xterrains, which he has really liked, they have worn quite a bit also, but he had found from others experience they dont wear as fast as their MT's... (side note: Procomp actually has their buy 3 get one free deal right now I think) Maybe others can give you some options on MT's... I know the BF Goodrich MT's are popular... I however will likely go for the Dayton Timberline MT.... (I have AT's right now, and I wanna be just like Luker... heh.)

That's odd... if I park, and turn off the truck, I can still close all the windows, as long as no one opens a door first... (cant remember if the keys are still in the ignition then... I dont think so - I think I have a couple minutes where the power still runs to the windows)

Ive trolled the AC boards looking for people who have done the relocation on an R50, and have come up empty... sooo... when I do mine, I'll post pics.

nice pic 90seven... We installed a SureDRAIN oil drain valve on both trucks, and will be looking into an oil filter relocation kit, so we dont have to worry about removing skids for oil changes...

No, I've used the pass side one a quite few times with no issues - it's the only recovery point I have on the front.

yeah, the manual says only use the passenger one... (for recovery) but I believe I have heard people have used either...

I'm guessing you'd have to take it to the dealership to do that... or -- they could rekey the doors to match the ignition for you???

Well, you really arent missing much -- here's mine before I replaced it - it's broken up pretty good along the back, I think it was ripped off a few of the bolts too. and here's the damage I could have avoided if I had a skidplate instead of the fisherprice POS splashguard Nissan put on the truck: If you do plan on doing some offroading - I do suggest Marcel's skidplates... dont expect the splash guard to save you from much more than... well... splashes. If you want to be protected from splashes - there might be a someone who still has theirs (and hasnt played smash up derby with it) maybe you can pick one up off of them.

That might have been because it was a response from another thread which I spilt this from... Good info XPLORX4! LOL@K9... it could be worse in C4S's case his passenger decided she should mod & wheel her OWN truck... so the first thing we broke was the bank!

Definately... If you lift your truck, your CV's will wear faster... I am replacing the stock hubs with Warn Manual hubs to lessen the wear... other than that, it depends what you smash your truck into... lol...
