soo... it's not me then? rats...
-
haha true enough... however ice & snow is the price I pay to avoid earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, and most of all hugeass bugs.

My hubby has the Surco Safari Rack on the X, weve had wood, chairs, tables & other camping stuff up there with no problems... It does have a wicked kink in it - but the guy we bought it from caught it on his garage door one day... oops!
-
why wouldnt you buy the thule feet for your truck??

Lots of good info XPLORX4!! Can we get this stickied, as there are often questions about lifts that we've pretty much answered here... -

I dont regret lifting mine, but it is entirely up to you.... (and maybe your wallet) although, how much bigger do you want your tires?? and maybe the question is - what is the biggest tire you can fit without a lift - if youre not 100% on getting a lift ?? (sorry I dont know the answer to that) -
hehehe.. something about the word 'twit' makes me giggle... it is a bit feaky how many quakes you guys have had out that way lately...
-
it wasnt that mud that stopped me there as much as the pile of logs and sticks in front...
-
to be honest, I didnt have it on long with the airdam... I liked the look, but not what it did to my fuel economy... although the rack alone makes a pretty good dent. Without the airdam, it does make quite a bit of noise... but I just turn up the music a couple more notches!

05 pathy forum - good even if they dont wheel their pathy's its nice to have a place to chat about your truck, or find info & fixes... We have at least one '05 owner... but I havent seen them around here for a while maybe instead of an Armada, or Xterra area, why not a "OTHER NISSANS" area... wheelman, you are right, there are A LOT of Xterra Forums online... I happen to be a member of one, and I do find some pathy info there sometimes from other pathy owners on that board... Also, there are at least 2 Xterra (AND pathy) owners on this board that might want an area to chat or show off their X's.

Welcome to another Canuck! There are at least a couple guys here from BC... they might be able to help you out!

As you can tell, I took that airdam right off, it was costing too much fuel!! I actually peeled the "sportrack"sticker off of mine, and had a PEZ sticker there last year before I chose to ditch the thing!
-
I dont think mine new cost that much!

I guess living up here in Ontario, I'm pretty lucky, any natural events like that either miss us, or are pretty tame... although we do live on a fault line... and get quite a few teenie quakes a year, but I've only ever felt one.
-
Any Canadians, or anyone close to the boarder can pick up a Sportrack Basket from Canadian Tire for $250... I've had mine for little over a year & love it... (Mine has the extension on it too...)
-
you are correct edta1, but it also lifts your undercarriage, where a body lift does not
-
body lift = more room for bigger tires

Is there any way to update our NPORA member page?
Pezzy replied to MaritimeMan's topic in General Forums
which one is that? -
are they? or are they bushwaker? you know i could ask him, but that would be work. haha..

I dont know the technical jargon, but basically, instead of a body on frame, our body & frame are one (attached), hence you cant lift the body alone... so we're stuck with suspension lifts...
