  1. Funny...I'm heading there Thursday night...
  2. Don't forget that the Pathfinder was released 14 years BEFORE the Xterra... So, I'd say that the Xterra is the illegitimate child of the Pathfinder.
  3. Well, even if you could get it installed by next week, you probably won't have the parts by next week. When I ordered my lift from AC, they were backordered and it took me 2 months to get it.
  4. You're not the only one Pezzy... A friend of mine did JUST THAT. I ordered the skids that evening.
  5. This past January, myself and a fellow R50 owner, along with 3 very built rigs, hit Paragon in PA. We were wheeling with: SAS'd 94 Toyota Truck w/ 35" MTRs, Dual Locked, 4.88s, Dual 4:1 Krawler-Cases SAS'd 95 Ranger w/ 36" MTRs, Dual Locked, 5.14s, Dual 4:1 Krawler Cases 86 Chevy W/ 35" Mud-Terrains, Dual Locked, 4.63s, built 350 V8. With my open diffed 2" Lifted Pathy with 32s, and Bob's Oh so Stock, R50 on 235 Street tires. I tried everything Eric (94 Toyota) was willing to try in the snow and ice, and I made it through everything he did, albeit with slightly more scraping and banging. http://www.niora4x4club.com/dan/ParagonAP-1-22-05/
  6. Yep, Precise, we just got our first paved road here in Ontario last month. Before that it was a BIATCH to get from the igloo to the corner store!!!!! :cool2: It was a lot better once they got the mountie out there directing traffic. No kidding!!! When are they supposed to be putting in that stop sign again? Sometime in 2015, I've heard...
  7. I've made one post on XOC, and that was to announce a run for NIORA...and I got all kinds of crap for it...they were like...take your yota loving self elsewhere and stuff like that...I was like...PEACE FOOL! F XOC. F Carlton. F Ian...they're all a bunch of coward pansies who think they're all big and bad behind that "Admin" title and keyboard.
  8. I would say do it, no question. It is much easier (AND CHEAPER) to replace both front hubs with the Warn Premium manual locking hubs, than it is to replace one CV axle. Since installing the hubs, I have not had one CV boot tear, and it's been some two years now. In the 9 months between when I got my lift both inner CV boots ripped, and I had to replace both axles at a cost of ~$130 each, from an auto parts store. The dealer charges $480 for the whole axleshaft assembly. I paid $100 for the hubs. Also, it is incredibly easy to install the warn hubs...at least once you get that flange cap off. If you are trying to justify the purchase of them, they will pay for themselves within a year to 18 months of purchasing the lift if you use 4WD at all. Your mileage may vary, others have been more lucky than myself with CV boots, though I've never shattered a CV, I'm just waiting for it to happen.
  9. To Anyone that takes their rig off road, I feel without a doubt that skidplates are the single best modification you can make to your truck....Not only do they offer protection of vital parts, they give you a sense of security knowing that you won't break your junk. I've got the "thin" BP Skids and I hit a very large rock, directly on the skidplate going some 15mph and it stopped me dead in my tracks....the only "damage" was a scratch in the powdercoating....Marcel does absolutely amazing work, and he's one hell of a nice guy!
  10. I need to get one of those 10x10 canopies, but all the ones I'm finding are around $100...I don't want to spend more than $40 on it. Where can I find one for that?
  11. That's cool! I'd do the same but I lost the bolts for the clips and subsequently the clips themselves... pssd
  12. Umm...Lemme think...nope...at least not anyone that drives a Nissan...lol.
  13. Howdy Jason! Glad to see you finally made it over! Have any good Sake lately?
  14. Woohoo! Talked to my adjuster, and they've deemed me "Not-at-fault" for this accident...YAY! No rate hike...no impact on my insurance coverage...woohoo! -bounce-
  15. Got the estimate from the body shop... It's only the drivers side "apron" that is damaged, and is only going to be a total of $1700 including parts, labor, paint, etc...They won't know for sure if there is any hidden damage until they start tearing into it, however, but they'll let me know and the insurance know about it immediately. Assuming they can get the apron piece (or inner fender skin, as it is also known as) in this week, I'll have the truck back at the end of next week, WOO! And, guess what...my roof rack is due in at the end of next week as well! So, once I get her back...I'm going to treat her to a nice detail, and a set of Ox sensors...because she's been crying about those for some time now...hah. Then she gets her boob job (roof rack), tummy tuck (sliders), and butt lift (cargo drawer). And maybe even 3" more lift courtesy of L& About that Xterra that I went to look at... It's a yellow 01 SE, 4wd, auto. Doesn't appear to have been in an accident (minor fender benders excused), as all the panels line up properly and there are no paint runs. There is very minimal surface rust on the underside and trailer hitch. It starts right up and idles wonderfully...exhaust smells normal. Nothing appears out of place...until you look at the odometer and the safety inspection slip.... The odometer reads 35632. The safety inspection slip, dated May 27, 2005, reads 220679. The sales manager believes the actual milage to be in the range of 80000-85000. My instinct tells me that none of those are accurate. The condition of the vehicle is far too good for it to be 220,000. The engine is spotless, the brakes are worn, but not to the tale of 220,000 miles (rotors look original, worn slightly more than my Pathfinder's at 95,000). That said, I am always skeptical about salesmen's representation of vehicles, especially at small Mom & Pop Buy Here-Pay Here lots owned by people named Hans and run by a Pakistani. (Nothing against Pakistanis or Swedes, or small dealerships, but you do have to be very careful when dealing with them...especially when the only car on their lot more than $10,000 is a 2002 Avalon and that's priced at $11,5k.) The guy did say that he's been driving the truck recently and drove it to the beach this past weekend and it didn't have any problems, and runs very well...That is left to be seen. I'm going by after work to test drive it, even though I will likely not buy it (seeing as they're fixing my Pathy and there isn't any major structural damage, it should be fine), but you never know. That's all for now...I'll supply more updates as they come.
  16. Millersburg, eh? What are you doing this weekend? Wanna try Paragon? It's in Hazleton, which is like right next door! Lemme know...we're having a run there this weekend...Camping at Red Ridge.
  17. I will let you guys know the verdict tonight...leaving now to go to the body shop...
  18. Right now...I'm getting 28-35.... .... in the rental 4cyl Sunfire...hahaha.
  19. It's not that simple...just ask Vic (Spectre)...he is still working on a 4wd conversion on his 91 2wd Hardbody...has been working on it for quite some time. You'd probably be better off trading it for a 4wd.
  20. It's yours...If I get to keep the Pathy, I'll have KMA make me a clone of the Calmini Frontier winch bumper...its SEXAY.
  21. Well...think of it this way...no matter what happens...I'll make it work out... Hell...with a face like this, it can't NOT work out for me...
  22. I like it...I think it looks ridiculous, but in a good way.
  23. Hehe...Finally beat you to one, Pez...
