Thanks Adam.. Anybody else have any input? Anyone running OME?

I know search is my friend but OME and OLD MAN EMU gave me no search results in the 90-95 pathfinder forum section. My truck rocks! It will go anywhere I point it. It is in need of some new shocks so it rides a bit smoother. Any opinion on the OME Shocks in whole? Below is what ARB the owner of OME said to get. OME N26F for the front. $82.99 each OME N42 for the rear $82.99 each OME 920 rear spring $150 pair OME Steering stabilizer $74.99 Not sure I am going to do the rear spring and steering stabilizer right now... I am choosing OME because I had them on my Toyota 4 runner and they made the vehicle ride like butter over the terrain. Anybody know of anyone on the forums here that actually has a pair of OME's on their pathfinder? Spring or not to spring? Steering stabilizer or not? Thanks, B-

I took mine to a Windshield replacement shop and they redid 3 of my seals for $35.00 USD Top of windshield and the two rear little windows. They took them off, heated them up with a heat gun to soften them up. Cut some of the old glue off and the re-glued them... Might give it a shot...

Unbelievable... I would have driven your Pathfinder into a lake along time ago if I had to do all that work. I have a WD21 with a few problems itself, but I like all my broken stuff. Both rear windows don't work Drivers side door lock no workey Odometer and Speedo toast Transmission has no Syncro's - Grind, Grind, Grind... Blown fuse in headlight - FIXED 4x4 and engine works GREAT!!!

In case anyone cares - I went with the housebrand Autozone house brand tie rods... they were half the cost of the MOOGS...

What tie rod ends would you buy? I am doing inner and outer... Everyone has a CHEAP housebrand... I was told just to get one with a Lifetime Warranty and I should be good. Do you agree? I am pairing them up with a HooHaa centerlink that I just got in the mail. This is a trail rig that I daily drive just to keep the miles off my new car. I have beeno told that MOOG are the best but are 3 times as much as the autozones house brand that also have a lifetime warranty. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Not sure whom I talked to - but I did make sure he knew that I was putting them on a Nissan... I expressed to them that I wished that they would adapt some of their 4runner and Tacoma bumpers to our Nissan's and he kind of laughed. I would love one of their stinger tube type bumpers for my pathfinder. I just think the only word in their vocabulary is To-yo-ta... So sad... Sorry man - I was just kidding... Msavides - I have no welder and no knowledge, besides it looks like there is a hairline crack in your frame where you welded on yours. MY1PATH - the 6 leg kit and gussets at Rugged are the same as the gusset kit sold at Trail Gear for $19... I smashed my passenger door in this past weekend... Don't really care about the damage aesthetically speaking.. I did have to take sledge hammer to the floor board to be able to get the door to close without slamming it.. I was considering purchasing me a pair of these sliders and welding them so my door will remain operational in the future... I had a 97 4runner last year with 212k miles on it. It was a much nicer ride than my pathfinder but it should be for $5500 vs. $1800 for my pathfinder. I blew the engine within 45 days of getting it because I got some mud on the timing belt which caused it to slip. Bent rod... It had a lot nicer interior but it was a 97 - I am not sure what the 97 pathy's interior is like but surely it is nicer than my 91 path. It also rode ALOT smoother but there is NO COMPARISON to my pathy on the trails. The LSD on my path kicks the @!*%e out of anything my 4runner could do. If you go with a toyota get one with the Electronic Diff locker... Mine did not have it therefore it was weak in the wheeling department. I love my pathfinder! Old Trail Rig New Trail Rig

If you have SAS you will need to look for new and harder challenges. I personally don't mind the challenge of having IFS - it makes wheeling more fun for me personally because I have to think harder about the lines I want to take where as I know if I was SAS'd I could just PLOW straight through them. For me the terrain that is around me - SAS would make the close by wheeling spots boring because they wouldn't be challenging anymore. It doesn't matter what you do to your truck - you will have to seek challenges that are appropriate for it.
