  6. Just got off of the phone with Royal Purple and he said that I don't have a syncro nor a transmission problem and that putting sae150 in the transmission will most likely not fix my problem. He said my clutch and clutch slave most likely have moisture in them and that I need to bleed the clutch and clutch slave. He said the moisture in the lines is causing the clutch to not fully disengage and bleeding the lines will most likely will solve my grinding problem. I am going to have this done today and will report back.. B-

  8. I am having the same problem... Do you think they will honor that warranty if the starter has MUD injected into it?
  9. I figure at this point that not knowing how many miles on my truck gives it character. My truck has LOTS of character!!!
  10. Hey 87pathy, how is that omala 320 still working out for you? B-
  11. Putting Redline in my transmission did not help my problem... My syncros are out too! I got a really good deal on my truck because of them being out. In other words - I bought it that way knowing that when I get tired of messing with double shifting that it I can just throw in a salvage yard trans for around 200-400 bones. Do a search on the forum for Redline and you will eventually find where a guy who works with gears for a living put some HEAVY THINK sheit in his and it fixed his problem. I didn't try it myself as I am hoping my transmission will eventually blow up so I can justify spending the money to put in a used one. That was a year ago... It just keeps grinding, grinding, and grinding.. Damn thing won't blow up!!! Oh wait - I found the thread... It was 87Pathy: http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...;hl=castrol+400

  13. I wanted it up higher so when I go mudding it won't get on my body.
  14. Thanks for those that have replied... Keep em' coming!
  15. The suspension lifts have caused them front end issues because the CV joint are no longer at stock angles... Parts prematurely wearing out and/or breaking.
  16. I contemplated doing a suspension lift on top of my existing body lift. But after hearing horror stories about SL - I have backed off. My buddies have had terrible problems with their suspension lifts on their pathfinders and my truck just keeps on going, and going and going... I LOVE IT! I read a thread here on NPORA once that someone wrote that talked about if they were to build a new rig they would do a body lift only. Anyone recall reading this thread or have any thoughts? FYI - here is my current setup: 1991 Pathfinder SE | 3" BL | 33" Nitto TerraGrapplers | HooHaa Centerlink | Calmini Idler Arm Brace | Sliders | Stock LSD A wise man named Rick once told me, "If it works, don't mess with it." This wise man sold his 95 pathfinder recently because his setup just wasn't working. What would your low maintenance setup of choice be for a trail rig?

  18. Did they ride like butter when you first put them on compared to the stock shocks?
  19. Thanks Simon - I just replaced all my tie rods, put in a Hoo Haa centerlink, and Calmini idler arm brace.. So I guess you could say my steering is in good shape too.. Thanks again!
