he told me he wanted the 86-89 one. he has an 86 300zx i believe

well guys and gals good news. my friend told me he is probly just going to give me the turbo and parts for free i am psyched but i would like to pay him back a little he is looking for an intake plenum from a 86-89 pathy any help would be awesome. Sport i got your pm and im gonna e-mail ya a little later once im sure im gettin the parts.

Personally i did the jgc lift and i got just as much lift out of the t-bars as i did with the springs with travel still left maybe its just the wieght in my truck but i got dang near 3" of lift. just my experience.

Hey sport thanks for the help and encouragement glad to see im not the only one who doesnt think its gonna cost an arm and a leg to do this although i think im gonna do the body lift first just to give me a little more room to work with. BTW im getting all turbo parts and accessories from the 300zx ill give you a list of what i got when he gets it for me and you can tell me what else i need. Its nice to haved all you guys so willing to lend your insight/experience and services. P.S. Sport, where are you located if your close maybe i could get ur help.

Where is 600 acres at? I would like to go wheeling sometime but i dont anywhere to go. Where is Waterloo in regards to storm lake or des moines? Im in storm lake and 94pathy is in des moines. But i would be willing to drive a couple hours to meet some new ppl and go wheelin.

Your factory (amps) are in the back cargo area on the passenger side behind the plastic cover.

Im getting all the realted parts from the car to control the turbo. And i will get anything i can to mount/plumb it i will also look at my friends running 300zx to see how it all works. I might be comin to some of you such as Bernard to maybe help me machine some parts and if all goes well possibly design a kit. :contract: sly

why do you need alot of money? Im gettin the turbo for dirt cheap from a friends parts 300zx and its the same engine so i figured it would be fairly straight forward.

ok, so im getting all the turbo stuff from a 85 300zx from a friend and its going on the pathy, no matter what it takes. wish me luck, give me pointers anything would be great. Anyone??????????

Hey guys I wanna swap my auto tranny for a manual does anybody know if it would be a direct swap or would i have to do something with the t-case i really want a manual and is it possible to get the t-diesel in america cuz i want that too.

Skrilla, I also did my lift over christmas with springs c/o 88 and i got a good 2.75" of lift in the rear. No pics yet, no digital camera. But there is definitely a difference in ride. :cool2:

The overdrive actually loses power when on but saves gas milage ei, turn overdrive of when in hilly places or mountains and also when towing. if you tow in od then you take the chance of burning up your tranny. And on hills it actually saves milage to have it off cuz it runs at a steadt 3500rpm rather than kicking down gears and revving whenever you hit a hill. my 2c.
