  1. Just had to make sure the transaxle was properly lubricated
  2. Who makes some rear springs that would keep a soft ride but raise the rear maybe 1"? That big spare is sagging me Would anyone recommend these?: https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-rear-coils-15-inches-of-lift-p-497.html
  3. OK I bent it up a bit and so far so good! Thanks for the replies!
  4. Ok so if I get under there I can bend it a bit? Is there any chance of damaging the seal or bearing if I use a BFH on it?
  5. I had my clutch just replaced and now the drive shaft is rubbing inside the sleeve on the tail of the transfer case. It is the area where the driveshaft slides into the tail of the transfer case. Has anyone had that problem and what is the fix? Thanks!
  6. Anybody have a good place to buy wheel studs and quality lugs?
  7. Thanks for the information. That is a pretty penny for a clutch job! I think I'll sell the thing before I spend that money on it.
  8. Also, where is the best place to buy wheel studs? Thanks!
  9. That was regarding the doors locking by themselves when the vehicle is running. My problem now is the power locks are not responding to either the remote or the inside switch intermittently.
  10. My power doors locks work sometimes and don't work other times. Any idea whats going on and how to fix it? Thanks!
  11. I own a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder SE with 140,000 miles on it. The Bad: -Both exhaust manifolds tick when cold, tick nearly gone when warm(dreaded studs). -The throw out bearing growls in the morning, gone in a minute or so. -The remote entry is acting up, doesn't work sometimes. -Noisy lifter (at first start up for 3 seconds)when oil reaches 3,000 miles, oil change eliminates it. The Good: -New timing belt and water pump. -Hates oil, zero smoke. -5 speed, limited slip rear, 4 wheel drive. -Original paint, body is probably the straightest I have seen in recent years. -Desert vehicle, no rust, strong frame. -Adjustable shocks work great -Every option I know of available maybe besides leather. What is this thing worth?
  12. Any idea on what I should pay each? I see them from $1 to $3 a piece.
  13. I need to replace my wheel studs on my 1993 SE. I would like to get longer studs as well. Where is the best place to buy them at a good price?
  14. Check your timing, make sure your not too advanced. That will cause overheating as well.
  15. Yes it happened to me more than once. I got locked out of the truck running for almost 2 hours. I never close the door now if the keys are in the truck.
  16. When I did my timing belt I had the same thing happen. I thought it was the TB tensioner and ripped the motor back apart and installed a new piece. Started it up and the sequel was still there. It ended up being the accessory belts. They were quiet before the job but after re-installing them they made noise. Replaced the belts and the motor was quiet as can be.
  17. Napa guys typically are more helpful from my experience as well.
