  1. i have lights also on top of my roof, monted on a basket, when it is on, it lights up my hood. hahaha! so I have spray but not too bad, I have to extend the bar that attaches the light to the rack. Mudfinder's setup looks like a lot of spray to the sunroof and hood. night pics MUD!
  2. custom tow bars to pull behind a motorhome.
  3. maybe you should stay away from it thou, try getting procomps. The majority of KYB tends to cater on cars, i installed one on my VW before and they rode great. On the pathy, I have not heard anything good or bad about it, unless you want to be our lab rat?!?
  4. i screwed a cheapie cupholder on the center console bin.
  5. i got Yakima bars and footings/SURCO basket (summit racing got good prices) and U Clamps from a hardware store. If you go with SURCO I have a couple of extra basket floors that you might want. 2 sizes
  6. what? they recline? i want to go home now so I can check that out.
  7. what kind of off roading would you be doing? Snow? Mud? Water? Rocks? different priorities for each one.
  8. i have an auto, bought the truck for 600, wasted tranny, had it rebuild, ran some B&M coolers and it drives great. Also, while they are rebuilding the tranny, i did a top overhaul, changed belts, radiator, starter, relocated oil filter. Right now i can easily sell my truck for 2k-3k, oh yeah new 31's, black rims 5 of them, roof rack, RC susp lift, lights and other crap. I need to post a picture of this thing. So yeah, I think it is worth it.
  9. 31's will be just fine, maybe you need to re-index the torsion bar a bit to even up the ride. I have PROCOMP AT, so far so good. I don't really do hardcore wheeling, just backroads around the LA FORest and sand exploring around NEvada. When picking your tire, take into account the terrain that you are going, also on road and off road usage. Good luck
  10. i cannot remember but search for a thred by skrillaguerilla.. i believe he has pictures
  11. the best way is not to do anything, just visit your other neighbors once in a while. make sure he sees you around the area, put your best smirk on, when he sees you. but do not do anything. mess with his mind man. i bet he will have to watch his back constantly, he'll be paranoid as hell.
  12. i think i have the same problem, windows are slow going up or down, one of this days it will just poop on me
  13. Hi OP, how thick is the skid plate? looks kinda thin to me, well as long as it works, I guess. it'll be nice if they extended the upper part of the plate for that extra protection that you are looking for. Here is my question, since there's an abundance of JEEP bumpers, why can't we just use the bumpers for a wrangler or the cherokee, the box one . then just fab up a mount for it. I was at 4WP an they really have nice bumpers with winch plate/with bars/with a sink, everything. OP, could you get a shot of the mounting tabs that they used to mount the bumper? Thanks
  14. i second and third the PB blaster, that thing really works. I took out my exhaust when i got annoyed with the famous manifold stud. SOAK it really well and leave it for a couple of hours. Best bet, SOAK it overnight!
  15. I too bought a hitch made by CURT, I got it on EBAY. So.. I have the same issue, per the inst, it said to fish hook the bolt. whatver, I have a box frame and I do not have any holes big enough for me to drop the bolt. What I did is, put the bolts that came with the kit aside, aligned the hitch holes to the frame, marked it with a sharpie, brought out the 1/2 drill with a level guide and drilled a hole from the bottom of the frame to the top. Went to home depot and bought some GRADE 8, zinc plated nuts and bolts, long enought for it to pass thru the frame+hitch mount do not forget the washers. Installed my wonderful hitch+new hardware. I am at work right now so I cannot give you pictures, but it is a pretty simple install the only hard part is lying down on your back and having this giant drill close to your body trying to make a straight hole. I have to stop every so often coz my arms get tired being in a weird angle and stuff, but it is a simple fix or you can weld it to the frame.. hehehe Have fun! oh yeah after drilling, spray the holes that you did with a primer and some rust prevention stuff. IB
  16. simon, what are the bushing issues that you speak of? are you talking about the squeeking? or the premature wearing out of said, bushings? Oh, just to answer my previous question regarding the shocks that came with the kit for the hardbody. YES, the rear shocks went in, without a hitch.
  17. yeah, so what is the deal with this? Summit got them? I should just get it from them then. hmm... As of now, I am still in with the group buy, if it does not happen, it's cool, We always have summit. =)
  18. just an update, I receive the RCs... and they are both sitting on my table, I took a picture of them for comparison pusrposes but when I started posting, Image is too large. so... I need to resize them. I think I will go with the Calmini and sell the RCs. If someone out there that I am making a bad choice, please speak out and help a broda out.
  19. i am still waiting for my RCs to arrive so I can compare them side by side. I did receive my calmini's yesterday, I did 3 day shipping thou. This thing is really massive, looks really tough. I'll get some pictures up this weekend. Wow i am really getting mixed reviews on the two UCAs, I do not know which one to use. Could other peeps chime in with their issues. Would it be any diffrent if I use Energy Suspension bushings instead of the black ones that the CALMINI came with?
  20. those are just 31's? they look huge. I have 31's and they do not look as mean as that. what kinda M/T you running? i should have gotten 11.5 instead of 10.5 =(
  21. Mike, have you installed your Calmin UCA's yet?! I believe they have upgraded bushings or I might be wrong, but that is what the guy told me. I just want to know if they squeek and also if you got it aligned yet and you are on factory specs. My issue is when RC told me that my UCA's are backordered with no ETA, I got pissed and ordered UCA's from Calmini and ask them to deliver it 3 days. so most likey I'll be getting both UCA from RC and Calmini the same time. (I'll post pics when they arrive) I do not know what to put on my truck now, but for sure one is going to the classified section.
  22. bro, ask them if they are available to ship out ASAP. I was waiting for my UCA from them for about a week or so, I called yesterday and was informed that it was backordered. Luckily, I called them today and the guy said that it went out today.
  23. Bro, Truck's looking good. What size are those tires? Hey you want to sell your flares? I am most interested in the driver side rear, but I'll take both of them, if you want. Rio
  24. great. i already got it, I told him that I know people that got it seperately, he said "no, they do not do that anymore, warranty issues" i guess the rest are going to E-bay. Will the shocks for a hardbody fit the pathy?
