  1. Hi all, I have been shopping for a UCA for my 93 pathy for the last week or two or maybe three and I compiled some info for other peeps out here I know there are a lot of people asking about UCA and whatever, so here it goes: Calmini HD UCA:( price: $ 349.95 To me this is the thing to have, they are big, beefy and people say it works. The only problem is they need 3 weeks to do the order, probably made to order. It's a problem for someone like me that needs it right now, also there is the tax issue and shipping. Probably it will come out to $400+ for a set and for that I cannot justify the price. SuperLift UCA price: $ 357.82 (part 6065, Front Kit from Website) pricey for me, didn't bother what is included in the front kit. I called them a couple of minutes ago, also a $30.00 shipping fee will be added on top of that. This works also Roughcountry UCA price: $ 329.00 ( for a freaking set that includes shackles, shocks) This is what I got, they told me that they cannot sell it individually, B/S so I just need to unload the rest of the stuff that I do not need. $45.00 including shipping so that gave me 374.00 shipped. They are highly recommended by NPORA. AC UCA didn't bother based on NPORA's reaction Hope this helps someone.
  2. smitty, made some before? Wow, that would have been cool. Yeah all the remaining companies that still sell bumpers for the pathy are very expensive. I guess it's time to fab my own bumpers then. I just need a new welder. My welder is too small to handle that job. I'll keep people updated on the outcome.
  3. no brah, That is too hardcore(expensive) hehehe. I am thinking more of like this: http://www.4wd.com/subcategories.aspx?cid=4&jeep-sid=237 looks like really simple and functional. a tubular bumper is a good also, do they make em?
  4. Glenn, what kind of rims you got? rim width and back spacing? I want to run 32 x 11.5 but I want to do it without trimming anything.. hopefully. I got 3+3 waiting to be put on, probably do the BL this weekend. hehehe.
  5. I have been thinking about doing that myself, making my own cover, well actually adapting one from a different car. just find the a vehicle that is as wide in the inside as the pathy's, just fabricate some hooks to hold them. maybe cruise by the hardware isle of the home depot and find something in there that will hold the four corners. i am thinking about the subaru legacy or foresters., they look like the same size as our pathy's
  6. do they make those steel bumpers for the pathy? like the ones they have for jeeps?
  7. i am currently doing this to my recently bought 93 pathy. just did the timing belt/gaskets/engine tune up/EGR valve/top overhaul - parts and labor, $ 1300.00 just bought the z studs/washers/nuts/gaskets - $ 98.00 My truck right now is in the tranny shop, estimate to rebuild everything inc. transfer case?!?! $2,300 I bought my truck for 600.00
