  1. personally i love the redtop and am totaly cool with spending the extra bucks on it. look for an interstate store, that's who makes them and they are cheaper there. it's definitely like having 2 batteries. i have ran that thing to the ground. lights on for two day in the garage, crank, boom it runs.. played cds all night, crank, boom it runs.. not even a hair of hessitation. 0F, crank.. you guessed it.. like it was 80F
  2. you don't need to do all the lines. you either misunderstood your mech or he's trying to take you for a spin. do both calipers (rebuild kits are available) at the same time. also DO get new rubber hoses. that's where there could be a prob. flush the system and fill with new fluid. the remeinder of your money you can just donate to me or to NPORA for the site.. lol
  3. if you've never i'd recommned against it. tranny has way more many parts then the engine. just pulling and replacing the tranny once is a heck of a chore. find someone that will do it way cheaper with your kit or find a used tranny. it's would help if you also filled out the rest of your profile. no clue where you may be.
  4. ^^^^ lol. definitely go with that.. hahahaha
  5. i still don't get what kind of suspention upgrades (lift) he has.
  6. you know, i actually am thinking of using this stuff in my truck. i'll let you know how things go.. lol
  7. i don't see how better oils could void your warranty. i wouldn't drain them. the cv axle is unrelated to any oils so they have no reason to even look.
  8. make sure you flush the dickens out of it. the green/orange mix is what's worse then just air.
  9. it bumps up to the top when you post.
  10. i get the best mpgs when i drive between 35mph and 50mph in 5th gear. i coast a lot in the city.. stop and go kills your mpgs big time. actually the last couple of tanks i got the best milage ever and it was almost all city driving. and i disagree on the throttle. when i go super light i get great mpgs.
  11. huh? you can pick a good mpg car for a grand or two at the most. it will pay for itself in no time with $3/gal prices and save the pathy for fun.
  12. actually from what i gathered dexcool doesn't like being mixed with any amounts of green stuff. it's also designed for aluminum everything. not sure if our rads are al. the air has nothing to do with it as far as i could find. btw. why not just post in that other thread?
  13. 1mm.. wow. you're scaring the girls man.
  14. yeah, you can do it. it's no big whoop unless the ^^^. new set(2) is somewhere over a hundred. i'd do both sides. it sounds to me like you may also have air in the lines or something since it switches to which side pulls.
  15. manual transmition GL-4 ONLY!! t-case: atf it seemsfor some of the newer wd21s but i actually changed mine to 75w90 as i wanted to decrease amount of different oils i had to have as backup. no adverse effects and i have 4wheeled quite a bit. some pretty hard action too.
  16. if you have anywhere near 100k mi and no external cooler you're just about to go kaputt.
  17. you work on your birthday?
  18. get the accord for commuting ans save the pathy for playing.
  19. you could still use a safety device so it doesn't slip. it looks great though.
