  1. Hey all! Thanks for all the rim shots. looks smooth!! I think i'm going to get the all back 15" w/ 31's. Now; I would like them to stick out some from the finder wells. What off-set do you recommend? I plan to maybe lift it in about a year or less. many thanks.
  2. Find this WD21 service manual. I figure you guys might like to save this service manual onto your Hard Drive this one probably work better. http://www.thenissanpath.com/filelib/D21/Service/FWD.pdf pathfinder_service_manual.pdf
  3. Please show off either your black or custom rims. I'm planning to get some new rims and tires so, love to see how these look. If I remember correct there was a post a while back about pics of black rims, but I cannot seem to find it
  4. On my 95 the RPM on the cluster does not work, which I don't care. As long as I know how fast I am going, what the engine temp and how much gas I got.......... it's all good
  5. I got my 1995 wd21 v6 for $3K. See my sig below on what to look out for, but they are all fixable and get that done and this suv is pretty damn good! It has some little bugs like the dim light flicker, which I careless to fix, so instead of messing w/ the rear latch, I just turn off the lights in the dome areas You can't go wrong w/ this engines. Mine had 156K when I got it. I can tell you that the previous owner did NADAAA!! Yep. I put about $1300.00 into it and its like a champ, including Rancho shocks
  6. I want to replace both my front and rear bumpers (black). Any place online that you'd recommend? Thanks all!!
  7. Well for a while it was working flawless and then it started to act up and work sometimes. Now its like NADA! No workey. I wonder how much one of these cost. Thanks u2
  8. Recently the fluid that squarts water to my windshield is not working. However when I need fluid for the back window it does work. I am thinking that maybe the switch that you engage the wiper fluid might be bad? I mean due to the fact that I think its only one motor that runs pressure to squart the fluid to either front or back windows. ANyone else think differ??
  9. mine has a little fuel smell on cold start ups. when the motor is warmed it, all is fine. I can be patient for 5-minutes or so.
  10. Do you have any pics to share?? Love to see the setup if you can. As the clap your talking about? I went to Radio-Shack and they had clamps but it fits PU trucks not suv style. Only one's they had are magnet kind. ewww not ever again
  11. 6x9s are not going to fit b/c the speaker holes are 5x7s. So far what I experienced that no name brand aftermarket 5x7 worked at all. Go to AutoZone and get the one's I mention. Was a perfect fit, even the holes to flush mount the speakers to the sheet metal.
  12. All- I need some idea's about putting a firestick cb antenna on my rear spare tire rack. Any idea without drilling holes would be preferred. Thanks all.
  13. Hey all. I decided to return those sonys because: 1. grills don't fit over them 2. No BASS. All treble 3. Cost $40.00 --- in replacement w/o any mod or cutting, I actually found some 5x7s @ Autozone that cost 14.99 each and they are a OEM fit. The speakers are made by MERTA (I think) ^ Now- my speakers are hidden over the speaker grill, sounds good and got bass (better then the SONYs IMHO)..... oh and I save $10.00 and it was not because I switch to GEICO
  14. My 95 XE has a switch that says sport and auto. Over by the cruise control switch. It feels like when I switch it to 'auto' it shifts soft. Then when I switch to SPORT it's like the pathy changes gears harder and later into the gear. Kind of like taking it out of OD. What's what that??
  15. Sometimes I think I might try to use tin-snips and put some 5x7s. I think the 4x6 that I got inside now are loud (4-ways) great treble, but it does not BASS for $hit. I wonder if the 5x7 even would be any different. I thought about putting the 6.5" also. Best thing I say to do as for putting the grills on is to either make my own and use velcro or just break off the clips off the OEM grills and run velcro. It would work, but the OEM grills are ugly anyways. When I get some time to tinker again I will see what I decide to do. Oh as for the speakers. I got them from Walmart for $35 and when opening the box at home, I notice they were used and were returned. lol
  16. I hear ya. I would of saved time, but I just wanted to take on the project and play around. The outcome came out good and I just wanted to share / contribute.
  17. Agreed. I found NO 5x7 - aftermarket that fit my pathy. So here is what I did: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16788
  18. Hey guys, I am not sure if this will help, but I been thinking of ways to not cut the metal on the doors or ceiling from the OEM speaker mounts. Since their is NO 5x7s that truly FIT on our PATHYs without cutting or any modifications. Which I hate to cut steel off my vehicles. So what I decided to do was get some MDF wood that is about .25” thick , which is very strong and use it to shape the OEM 5x7 speakers. I decided to do this and then install smaller speakers to my Pathy. I’ll let the pictures do the justice. I am sure you’ll see what I did. Anyways, the Pathy sounds nice. My CD-player is a Pioneer, nothing fancy. Once again, I felt like 18 again doing this project, but it was fun pulling out the old jig-saw and does some speaker mount cutting. This was the 1st stop (continued) The cut- Making sure it’ll fit in the ceiling rear speaker mount: Prefab-cut and new speakers waiting to get put on. ( The speakers are Sony XPLOD 4x6 or 4x7 one of those) Ready to JAM The only thing now is that the OEM speaker covers are not going to fit. I plan to replace my headliner soon and plan to recover the speaker with a grey cloth which will hide the speakers away from view. Thanks for looking.
  19. No speakers yet. I did buy some pioneer 5x7 which the install techs @ BestBuy said would work. Well I got them for 80.00 and nope did not fit. Seems like really nothing fits for the rear. It sucks!!
  20. I notice that when I try to spray window fluid on my rear window, no fluid comes out, but I hear the motor roaring. The front windshield wiper fluid works perfect. I'm just wondering what can be wrong w/ the rear and why its not squarting any fluid. Any idea? Thanks
  21. Xmas

    I want one

I got one on order. They are holing my check. I was told that my check cleared, but I still have to sale my house to flush the difference. lol Wife and kids are living in my parents garage, I will have a new skyline... can't wait.!!
  22. Just so that everyone knows, when I knew I had two busted exhaust manifold bolts on the passenger side and then after taking out the motor, I found out that the driver side exhaust manifold was cracked right in half. Yeppers!! What fun this job was. Now I basically has almost new everything. Water pump, T-belt, belts, thermostat, all gaskets from the small block and up, rear main seal, oil pan gasket and spark plugs. Keep in mind that if you remove the motor, you will need to replace the motor mounts also. Sorry for the cell phone pics: Where is the engine?? lol
  23. I don't think Bob cares to off road much or rock crawl. My truck is stable and I feel at 100% control at all times. i just don't think it is not needed unless you heavily are working a 4x4 crawlin journey.
