  1. Yea I was looking at these pro comps, but the ES9000. I might just do a 3" BL and not mess w/ the oem suspension itself. So this maybe overkill?? I wonder even if the ES1000 are any good, but I bet gas shock would be better. Also another shock I was looking at was the Monroe Sensa-Trac's
  2. I think i'm going w/ the Kenwoods that Crutchfield recommends. They say the 5x7 will fit w/ ease and no cutting or modify anything By the Kenwood specs it will go down to 30hz, so bass should be pretty tone.
  3. Need to replace all 4-brake pads on my 95. What do you all like or use? MY budget for all 4 pads is 150.00 or less Thanks for any suggestions
  4. Need to replace all 4-shocks on my 95. What do you all like or use? MY budget for all 4 shocks is 200.00 or less Thanks for any suggestions
  5. What kind of trimming are we talking about? On the speaker brackets or the door panels? What did you use to cut the metal?
  6. I actually found some thorleys cheaper then @ Summit, plus free shipping till tomorrow http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-muffl...A0A2613939.aspx
  7. Well the pioneers that are in the front which has an adapter on the door, seems like they are fine, but then again the magnets on those pioneer 6.5" are small. As for crutchfield, all the speakers shows a exclamation mark for being flags as "MODIFY" I am not worried about the front, but more worried about the back / ceiling style speakers that goes into it. Thanks
  8. the whole unit is pretty cheap. I say replace the whole thing. I know you can pop it out and super glue/goop an mirror, but since you do wheelin, I highly recommend gettting a whole new unit/assembly w/ mirror Ebay has plenty of them.
  9. I am going to upgrade the busted up old Pioneer speakers that are in my 95 pathy. I found out that the front speakers that were in there are the Pioneer TS164P. The speaker was held in w/ some bracket w/ only 2 screws in it. lol. Talk about half ass job. So anyways, I plan to change these out (front doors) w/ some new 6.5". Would any 6.5" speakers work fine? Ok, now for the back speakers. Not sure what size they are, but they are on the roof towards/close to the rear hatch window. If I would guess, maybe something like a 5x7?? I can tell these are old Pioneer's, but they are blown also. So what would you fellas recommend, size & brands? I want clean sound. I do not plan to put any subwoofers or amps. Just legit and clean. The stereo that is in the truck is a Pioneer detactable face / not sure the model, but it works fine and dandy. ~~~ oh, I was on circuitcity.com and it says that I can fit these size speakers: 6x8 & 5x7. Now, would the 6x8 fit in the front two doors or just the rear (on the roof)? Thanks for any suggestions.
  10. Yep, my uncle is an A-Hole. I told his this past Thanks-Giving and I will remind him again when I see him this Thanks Giving!! I liked it, but for a 27K Suv, not worth it! I was happier w/ my old MDX. But then again... I driving a pos WD21 Pathy now. LoL. Kinda sucks when you loose a good paying job.... lol
  11. man why aren't you 2 living in Texas?
  12. Yea that plug looks like a %$#@! to get too!! lol
  13. I was told that before I remove the timing belt and parts, that I would need a tool called an 24' Chain Wrench. They said it is used to keep the (spelling) Harmonic Balancer Stable. True? or what the hell is that?? lol
  14. Man, love it!! That rumble sounds sweet!! Now is the 2.5" pipe custom?
  15. Sorry to be off the subject, but who's Pathy is this? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2985222438479236210 Man that made JEEP look silly... BTW.. those flow sounds tight!!
  16. good to know. So since I have NO-IDEA how long these exhaust manifold bolts were broken, I am sure the manifold is warped, you think? So I just need to go to a machine shop to have them even it back out? What do you recommend? The engine is coming out this weekend, so I need to make sure my honey-do list is up to-date Thanks all!
  17. Pulling out the 3.0 this weekend. Anyone here done it? How much time did it take for you do get it done. I never pulled a engine, but going to be doing it this Friday. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee So anytips before removing any bolts ect would be greatly apperciated .
  18. Do you guys w/ the 40s or 50s have any wav / sound files? I would like to hear it if you can attach a file/link to how it sounds. Thanks
  19. I have two broken studs on the passenger side exhaust manifold. I saw that Casey mentioned that I should put on the Thorley headers. ~ Now if i was to put on the new thorleys hedders will this remedy the known exhaust manifold bolts breaking issue?? ~ I know that hedders will increase HP, but I am happy w/ the Pathy-power I have in the stock 3.0, I just don't want to hassel w/ these darn manifold bolts ever again. Thanks!!
  20. Nothing like that. lol I wish though. it was a dude on craigslist.mobile mechanic... My loss. They bailed w/o doing the work..
  21. Ok guys, Since the mechanic screwed me on my money and did not do this repair I have decided to remove these exhaust manifold bolts myself. Please tell me step by step to “how” to remove these broken bolts. I have two that are broken on the passenger side. What is the best way to get to them? Also which tool is best used to get out the old busted bolts out? Thanks a mill for any help/support.
  22. Not sure what thorley's is. -But Yep he's doing that to (timing belts, belts, t-stat). Right now i been waiting to find out if its done, which I hope it is, but for some odd reason he has not returned or answered any of my call right now....
  23. Guys thanks all!! I decided to hire a home mechanic to fix the exhaust manifold bolts on passenger side (2 were broken), put in a new rear main seal, oil pan gasket and do a complete waterpump/timing belt/all belts replacement. He is going to remove the whole motor out of my pathy to get it all done. He's doing it all for 1100.00 (parts and labor all included) Oh he is going to put in all brand new bolts on the exhaust manifold and up-pipe bolts that goes to the manifold. I just dont want see anymore issues with this for the next 100K+ miles that I plan to add to her
  24. Thats cool!! Well right now the pathy is sitting at a local mom and pop tranny shop. They said two bolts are busted off the mainfold on the passenger side. They said they will replace the bolts and also replace the rear mail seal all for a 575.00 I took the offer. So its sitting at their shop right now.
