That's what I said too but I'm not sure... Thanks for the reply.
You’ll set off a powervalve ses and lose bottom end torque

Think I'm going to go with LR 9447 springs in the back and cut them down to 1.5" and run spacers in the front as a cost effective lift and solution to my rear end bottoming out. Any objections to this?
If you’re gonna run the spacers in front why cut the Lr coils down by an inch and a half? 2 inch front spacers and nrc9447 coils is a great combo

Dude that tube bumper is dope!!

Got all my trailing arm bushings replaced. The upper link bushings popped out with a rubber mallet of all things...
Also I found a kit on ebay for all 8 for about $80 if anyone else is about to do this. Got them in 3 days and they're much beefier looking than what was in mine originally.

You pounded out the old bushings with a rubber mallet? And I’d love a link to the bushings

Pretty sure you can pull the rack off any other r50 and install

Thanks so much for getting back to me! I do have someone local fabricating the roof rack for me. However, I am still curious if you recall the brand name or part number to share my ideas. I seem to be finding more designs for the Xterra for some reason?

Hell yeah dude, looks great!
Also I kind of agree with R50JR, even without 4WD a rear locker can get you pretty damn far so it’s worth considering.
And yeah this thing has definitely taken me further than I thought a 2wd could

Oh a rear locker yes. Just mentioning that I don’t need the front one. I was looking into pulling the heavier duty xterra diff, or even super packing the frontier one like the thread on here

You should install lockers front and back.

Question about the lift in the front.
Do any of the front strut options, like for example the KYB excel - g extend further than the OEM struts? is there more travel? Or is it just the spring that keeps it closer to the full extension therefore giving more lift?
I suppose the question is, If I were to put a raised coil into the OEM strut, is this just the same result? albeit unadvised
I went ahead and stuck in some to cheap to turn down raised Kings springs in the rear.. and achieved a less than impressive 3cm lift.. The ride is really improved though so I think I might just stick a 1" spacer in there too!
A longer coil in the oem strut is fine, but yes the length of the strut can reduce travel some. The OME struts are about an inch longer and will allow some additional travel. But they are the only longer strut option. Everyone else uses oem length struts in the front

You can’t lift more than 2 inches without an sfd unless you don’t mind replacing cv axles

Since AZ has cacti spines & razor sharp volcanic rock, sidewall thickness will be more important there than anywhere else in the U.S. I’ve never had work done by Desert Rat but they are otherwise pretty reliable place. I still often buy from them despite having left PHX 16 years ago.
Desert rat is a great shop. Mail order or at the brick and mortar

Ko2s are great in AZ. You should be able to fit at 31 10.5 on stock rims with a two inch lift. And I’d recommend a coil lift over spacers for sure

So everything is either in my shop or on the way, ordered 1" spacers from SFcreations last night.
What is up with the exorbitant shipping from 4x4parts? Are there any other options as to where to buy springs?
Bilstein lift & Ironman show they're out of stock.
Help! The last part, maybe should've been the 1st??
Get OME springs from desert rat.com. Free shipping

I think you’d be hard pressed to find many who “like” AC. The relabelling of brands, hiding brand identity & the shipping leave a bad taste. I tried to limit myself to one painful purchase as I couldn’t find some of the poly bushings elsewhere. Their deliveries arrive in a package with the real cost of shipping on the outside - it lets know just how much they overcharged you. Absolutely no reason to buy ARB OME from them at all. Personally, I’d buy from Desert Rat out of AZ (free shipping/no tax/good reputation). My local 4WheelParts manager simply matched them by discounting to essentially a “no tax” purchase (my only 4WP purchase).
I completely agree with you! Desert rat is a great company. I live here in Az and have been into their shop several times and their great guys. Never had a bad experience with them. I’d honestly rather use OME coils from them with a half-1 inch spacer over 4x4

I really wanna know what this non sfd lift option for 2wd vehicles is

Nothin at all wrong with the OME hd coils.

The OME coils inky net around an inch a lot of the time

Hi all
So I have a Pathfinder 2005 (AU Plated) R50 model I believe ...
Having a huge problem trying to find the PCV hose that is connected directly to the PCV Valve ...Its a firm U shape molded hose, and my question is ... can i use an alternative hose that may be flexible enough to get from "point a to point b"
Thanks in advance ... J
I did

So I grabbed KYB struts and Bellows/Bump
OEM Strut Bearings
OME HD springs.....
what factory parts can I most likely reuse pending that the wear is not bad, I have 140k on stock suspension... trying to be cheap but do it right also
When I did my lift the only thing I replaced were the strut bearings. My top hats and bellows were in fine condition so I re used them

The only other ones that will work are the aluminum qx4 covers
