  1. That's a really interesting issue. It always seems to have the throttle open? Or only when the clutch is pushed in? I would double check tension on the throttle cable, and have someone press the clutch while you watch the throttle cable. I can't imagine the clutch is throwing off anything with the TPS, or causing any additional problems engine related. I drive an automatic pathy, but I know the manual mechanisms pretty well. Though I doubt it, is the clutch master or slave cylinder maybe worn? It's all hydraulic driven... So I cant imagine the clutch is putting load on the engine. I'd double check the TPS, the cable, and just have someone press the clutch and see if you can see anything out of line.
  2. Haha I'm not hurt. I originally got all the images in on my phone, but then (probably should have known it would happen) TinyPic just displayed that the images were deleted. Go figure! The movie was amazing. Though some would argue, I would say it was just as good, if not better than the first. I'd see it if you liked the first one.
  3. I'll have to look around! It's strange that there aren't many options for that style. Thanks!
  4. Is anyone familiar with how to get ahold of the 2004 rack? I have the two cross bars for the 2001, but I really like the design of the rack on the 2004, saying Pathfinder and all on it. Is the rack compatible with the 2001? I live pretty close to a dealership if that's where I should look, but looking online never seems to bring up anything.
  5. Started planning out the bumper build today. I'll post all measurements whenever I get back to it, in case anyone else wants to make their own.

  6. TowndawgR50 beat me to it. Should have posted before I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2... I suppose I messed up my priorities
  7. I'll try and post the manual in a few. It's pretty simple, as long as you know all the little pieces you're getting into. I attempted to upload the pages on my phone but it didn't work. Just a minute...
  8. As far as if it's inconvenient, you shouldn't need to get out all the time to turn the hubs anyways... Only takes a few seconds regardless
  9. Do you have manual hubs? That'll keep things smooth if you're still going to try and keep the turning fair.
  10. You should easily be able to remove the rear shocks without keys. With the right tools, it's easy. Just go through the rear wheel wells with a socket and wrench and remove the upper bolt, and slide it out. On the bottom, its one nut for each side holding the bottom on the mounts. You should be able to get them off easily from there.
  11. Mystery solved! Turns out the little bulb did burn out. It was cool enough out to test if the seat heated up without me thinking I was just sitting on hot leather. Whew... now just to figure out the bulb size for it.
  12. So far, everything checks out. I'm wondering if quite possibly the LIGHT in the switch itself gave out. Don't be sorry. I just wonder if you're secretly a Nissan tech. It was worth pulling the seats out... Lets just say the rug doctor had something to work on. I'll keep looking, thanks!
  13. Somehow you always have answers to my problems. I'll pull apart the trim after work and test those. I do know for a fact that the blue IS connected to the drivers side, but I should definitely check to see if it has any sort of power running through it.
  14. I was hoping there'd be a magic hidden second fuse or something haha. I appreciate the advice
  15. I replaced the old Bose head unit with an upgrade when changing out the sound system for my 01 LE Pathy, but after doing so, it seems the heated seat on the driver side doesn't work anymore. The passenger side works, and I checked the fuse in the cabin for heated seats, but to no avail. Pulled apart the dash to see if there were any loose connections, nope. Pulled out the seat, nope. Everything is connected, any ideas? If anything I'll get out the multimeter...
  16. http://oi68.tinypic.com/241uhow.jpg Found this. It looks very similar.
  17. My 01 has the same issue from time to time. Except really obnoxious! I can be driving and all the sudden my blinkers start flashing like hazard lights and the doors unlock themselves. As soon as I take the battery out of the remote, all is well. Its the original remote, so I'm sure it's about time to get a new one programmed
  18. Wish I would have viewed this before doing a ton of research and drawing it out myself haha. I appreciate it regardless, because that means I wasn't off in my ideas. So ideally, my plan to make the spacer mounting plates is to get a mounting plate for these struts, and kind of repeat the design except with 1/8" steel. Is this a pretty good way of going about it? I'll probably draw it out on a steel sheet, then cut it with a grinder.
  19. Mine is the same way. I KNOW it's the tensioner/slack guide... But getting in there to change it... Ugh.
  20. 180,000 miles, never had to replace the chain. Going to replace the guides soon however
  21. I had this issue with larger tires too. Locate where you suspect the rubbing is. Is it clipping the bumper? Or the mudflaps? If you feel like doing so, my solution was just trimming some plastic on the bumper and mudflaps to suit the tire size, but others may have better ideas.
  22. Is anyone familiar with how the strut spacer is lined up with the mounting plates? With that 8 degree angle cut, does the center line up directly with the front of the strut? I hope this is easy to understand. Essentially, the two plates, when welded to the center tube have to be mounted and welded at the correct points on the tube so that the alignment is still correct, but does anyone have knowledge as to how they are aligned in relationship with the tube?
  23. Not entirely sure it'll solve your problem, but have you considered cleaning your MAF? I idled at about 1k, and then cleaned the sensor, and it brought it back down to a 750 range. This is on a VQ35 though
  24. MOOG-K90301 is a strut bearing for a 2001 pathfinder (r50, works for most all of them I believe). Very high quality aftermarket parts are made by Moog. Where they're pricey, they're worth it, trust me. I sell a lot of moog parts at work, so if you have an auto parts store that carries them, take a look.
  25. Ended up buying all three of the ones Hawairish noted. I'm a parts retailer at Advance Auto, so I popped all the specs into an order and just got them today. They're significantly longer than stock, I'm super excited! Thanks a ton.
