As RainGoat said earlier. I used 1 1/4” square tubing and 1 1/2” angle iron for my mounts. With 8 t-nuts holding it on the rails. I did cut the angle iron on one side to match the square tubing Height.

How to mount it low in the rails though. I have one that I can get for free but struggle figuring out a mounting option on the tracks that I have on my LE. I like how low this sits.

If you match the led color to the lens color you’ll get a mor brighter vibrant color. I did this using amber leds in an Amber housing and it looked way better than the white led in the Amber. Same will go for red. You just need to have a high lumin led for it to work properly.

Lol. We have named ours Cactus Jack. He’s our road trip mascot. We lost our hat in central Oregon on the I5 a few years ago. That’s funny that we have the same R50. She definitely gets us to awesome places.I have the exact same cactus antenna thingy on my exact same color 04 SE! Mine's even missing the hat, too! Did a double-take trying to figure out when I got WA plates and awning.

Hanging out on top of Bald Mountain this past weekend.
It was great to see an R50 amongst the OB crowd! Silver with WA tags, it almost felt like I’d done it in a dream.

We were the only pathfinder there. Hat made me really want to get up that mountain.

i went to a true alignment shop and they did mine perfectly. Definitely get the adjustable alignment bolts. Or try off-road shops that do alignment.I'm open to suggestions on the alignment shops. We have Goodyear, Sears, and basic corporate places around here.

I love them. Up here it helps with keeping it vented in the rain and summer. Totally worth the money.Love It! It almost seems like it's me out there (same color, model & WA plates). How do u like the window covers? I've always thought of them as being for smokers but I note a lot of Paths have them & it certainly can make some sense up here in the PNW.

I am in the process of scraping off the stickers my dad has on it. And then I will put it back on. Much easier to remove stickers in the warmth of the house. .
