I rolled around with the same license plate bracket for a few weeks before@Towndawgr50 hooked me up with my custom plate bracket. The one I had was the prototype bracket and it worked flawlessly. No rattling of any kind honestly if you put a nice powder coat or anodized finish on it, it would look really great . It is a perfect way on mounting your plate and really easily running a light to it.

Looking good! Now you just a matching spare for those Bfs. Whats the plate frame you have?
I am waiting till next winter to get a set of Yokohama geolander mt’s. But first will be the awesome sfd that they are coming out with. . And the little black guy on top of my license plate is a back up light from v-leds. It’s bright as hell.

I was lucky enough to get in on the swinggate fest nw edition at@Towndawgr50 ’s compound a few weeks ago. Here has been my review on it thus far.
While these are not common in any 2003 pathfinders I found that the installation was very straight forward. Like any swing gate they will make some sort of sound going over large bumps but I can assure you this thing is solidly mounted.
You will want some heavy duty springs due to the fact that the factory tire carrier is pretty beefy. This is definitely not a one person job.
I did have a jerry mount welded onto the carrier as well as a custom plate mount.
This is a pretty cheap mod considering what the Toyota guys pay for a swing gate.
With the kit that Pines to Spines will be producing I am sure it will make this a very common addition to the post face lift r50’s.

The sfd kit looks very well thought out and really high quality. I will be proud to have one on my rig this year. Here’s a little picture from yesterday’s work day@Towndawgr50 ‘s test center.

SFD
With the sfd you will need a front skid the same amount of inches taller than the factory height.
So 4” sfd you’ll need a 4” taller skid plate.

me too. And one of those sick front skids
Sad thing is I just bought one that I won’t be able to use after this summer hopefully

I know I am waiting patiently for their sfd.

Curious about the shifter as well. stpickens HVAC is a ‘03 LE, while in the same place, it looks different than my ‘02 LE.astrorami don’t you have a ‘01?
My gear shifter turned out to be the same bulb as the license plate bulb.

Are you sure the hvac are t4? Could they be t3?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They are Definitely T4. Depending on who you buy the leds through their led housing could need sanded a little. I like v-leds products but the housing the led sits on is a wee bit thick and needs a little sanding. Once they are a little thinner they fit.

Looks good!
Also interested in bulb type and count.

Might need trimming as well.
Have fun with this one. Middle light only lights up knob. Other two is surrounding letters. I need to fix mine.

It’s funny, I think we have four shades of black between us. @‘02_Pathy is glossy to match his paint, I thinkTowndawgR50 is next with a worn gloss then your satin & then my nearly matte Chassis Black. I note the SW crew is all different shades of silver.
Honestly I thought about going silver but I worried about it matching. I played it safe with satin black to kind of go with the rolla rack.

I have been using the 110 filter for years now. It holds a lot more oil in it which I like. Never once had an issue with it.
