  1. I'm kind of in tune with the load making the CAT superheat the brake fluid under a load. A hill should not affect your brakes... Ever. On a side note transmission fluid always looks better on the dip stick than when you actually drain it. I'd be awful tempted to at least do a flush and fill.
  2. I put 1" spacers on my wheels. I have the tri-spokes. I didn't want to cut the center cap and 1" was perfect to clear them. I used Chevy lug-centric spacers I had on the shelf for several years. I cleaned the mounting surfaces. Greased the back of the acorns so they wouldn't 'bite' used blue loctite and torqued to 100lbs. Haven't looked back. Well actually I have checked the torque on them a couple times but they haven't moved. I wouldn't be scared to grind the lip down either though. Or take it to a machine shop and let them do it quick and easy. Our local machinists are starving since the mines closed here and they are thrilled to work on kids bicycles for ten bucks a pop.
  3. Looks good. We literally have identical 2001 Silver Pathys. Your original build contributed me wanting to build mine up.
  4. AC springs. OME springs Medium or HD, internal strut spacer or top mount strut spacer. Or stock Moog springs without the sag of your stockers or a combination of things. Really up to personal preference. Is it lifted at all yet? How much do you want to spend. What is your current front and rear height?
  5. The TBI 350 is probably the best power to fuel efficiency to reliability to all around engine ever produced. As long as you don't ask for a lot of any of those things. I wouldn't be too quick to knock her.
  6. Beer Spare tire Tape Rubbers Knife Stanley tool kit I got when I was 16 Socks underwear Bag of pretzels Rags Mini shovel Chain Jumper cables Spare phone (because of work) Electrical tape Screwdriver and tire tool
  7. I have 2"spacers (2.5" lift) and OE stock replacement moogs. It gave me close to 3.5 " over my stock setup. With a heavy front bumper you should be able to gain a couple inches. You can always use heavier duty springs with no spacers. No matter what, when you lift without the SFD you need manual hubs. I put Warns on before I ever started considering lift options. They are like the cheese to a cheeseburger.
  8. Hello from Kentucky. Been Lurking for a while trying to get ideas for my R50. 1 owner garage kept 2001 with 114k miles. I immediately started modding and am hoping to gain knowledge here. I'm a natural gas pipeline worker and have restored a 1970 F100 with 445 stroker FE BB on drag slicks I drive. My wife's 58 Hudson Nash and several drag cars and Offroad toys. Currently DD an 85 Monte Carlo set up for drag racing with AC and all the amenities. I'm not a great mechanic but I have recently worked on my pathfinders suspension and added a few inches and easy mods listed in my sig. Glad to be here. Frank
