  1. Ahh, I see that now. Anybody here using a Pop-charger? Comments? Any realized gains?
  2. The pop-charger looks incomplete...where is the air intake hose?
  3. I'm sure this has been hashed out but trying to weed through all the searches made my eyes hurt. Short and sweet: Does anyone make a cold air intake system for a 97 Pathfinder? Not one that needs to be modified, not a K&N drop-in, but a complete intake system with MAF connections, spacers, shield, etc? I've tried Stillen, weapon-R, AEM, and K&N. TIA, Stephen
  4. None of these offer a full system right? The K&N is just the drop-in, and the Pop Charger doesn't appear to be a complete system...MAF connection, spacers, etc....the Stillen I couldn't find anything on. So, is there a complete cold air intake system for a 97 pathfinder? SJ
  5. Just go to the Nissan Dealer...there as cheap there as anywhere I've found....about $75
  6. I never know where to go/post first for maintenance questions b/c we have the Garage Section, but then we have the Discussion by Model sections, and there is double/cross posting. I have a Volvo and I'm constantly on the Volvo forum trying to solve daily problems...anyways, it's setup has models as subcategories within overall GARAGE GARAGE 92-95 96 -97 98-2000 etc. Just a thought as it helps with organizing. Stephen

  8. On models similar to 97, use a deep socket 19mm, works like a charm. I used an impact socket that fits the lugs on the wife's Volvo. Anyone know what the torque specs are for the PCV valve?? Haynes doesn't list it.
  9. Is it the OEM silver one? any idea on shipping cost to Charleston, SC?
  10. I'd try 32's...the 33's just look too big IMHO.
  11. That part is for real...we converted a 82 Ford truck from 5-sp to auto and my brother is considering an auto-to-manual conversion in his 850R saloon. It can be done but rather costly sometimes. A donor car really helps. The "Don't Know" part was a joke.
  12. interesting, didn't think this poll would so close (17-19)...guess all the talk about the auto tranny crappin out so early shed some light on the 5sp alternative.
  13. I agree, one parked next to me when I had my Jeep and its amazing how much bigger the D90 is compared to a YJ. Like I say though, until I can have a D90 and a 4-door Rover, I think I'll have to wait. The D110 is an option, but a very expensive one.
  14. Yep, I looked at those but after owning 2 Jeeps, my practical side says "nah-uh" until I can have a 4-door Rover AND a D90.
  15. Was just curious to see the distribution of automatics vs. manuals on the forum. MODERATOR, this may need to be moved to the general section.
  16. Welcome aboard...tell your dad to buy an M5 for his next car
  17. Yep, that's why I'm wondering if anyone ever put in a self-leveling system w/ air adjusters on their Pathy?
  18. darn.. sounds familiar... mine had a frontal crash too.. crappy paint on the DS.. new fender PS... but she's great and will be getting new paint eventually... Yep...I wrecked mine and it doesn't show up on Carfax
  19. After I run the Pathy in the ground, replace it with a late 90's model Rover, I'm getting an M5 as a daily driver. Already got the wife's approval so 50% of the battle is won...now the other 50% is about 45 grand lying around.
  20. The working-on-it part doesn't bother too much...it's the $1000-for-any-part-no-matter-what-it-is part that I'm not crazy about. But it's always been the truck I've wanted so eventually I'll get one, just not sure if now is the time...I hope to get 200K+ miles out of my Pathy so we'll see.
  21. Yeah, this certainly comes in handy! drooooooooollllllllllllllll... now that's nice and any other emoticons that work.
  22. I'm seriuosly considering ditching the Pathy for Rover (ouch)...maybe a 99-01 Discovery or Range Rover. I know mechanically speaking I'm downgrading, but off-road is a definite upgrade. I love the supple suspension on them...the're like butter off-road. Anyone have any thoughts? Also, perhaps a suspension upgrade is need on my Pathy...maybe a set of Bilstein or Ranchos shocks, different springs, etc.? Anyone ever put in a self-leveling system w/ air adjusters on their Pathy?
  23. Tried the breaker bar...but to no avail either...I need a lift in my garage
