  1. I would say she was looking at 96+ pathys... and if you ever do see her again, let her know that there are in fact lift kits for the unibody pathfinder, and they can infact be wheeled.

As mentioned above, you have an entirely different beast, so she was really out to lunch.

    HAHA

I hadnt been in a Walmart in over a year. I actually decided to compare prices and went in to their lube and tire area lat thrusday. The girl at Wally World told me that a 31 10.50 15 was a low profile tire! I turned around and walked out. Guess I wont be going back for another year, or more.

  2. pull the Skid plate, climb under and look up.

IIRC: 12mm socket with atleast a 6" extension...

14mm and you have to crank the pully around so you can stick the socket through the access hole to loosen the upper bolt....

That after you remove everything else in the way....

    Yep yep yep.

Did mine a few weeks ago. CaseyT is right.

  3. Thanks! I will test it tomorrow when I put all the new parts on.

One last question before I go tinker with it some more.

Anyone know a good place to buy replacement parts?

The local schmucks wants 100$ for a set of crappy plug wires.

I found better ones for cheaper online, just wanted to get some opinions on what everyone runs, and also spark plugs...

I have always had good luck with the NGK v power.

    Anyone?

$100 for a wire set???? Ill pass! You sould too! :P

    Pathys like NGK IMHO

  4. RMS sounds like a lot of work ($600+), oil pressure sender is a fairly easy fix (am i correct?), what about valve cover seals (complexity/cost, anyone know?)

RMS is a lot of work, esp if it is 4x4. thats the penalty for being able to have fun....if you do not have a lift andor experience I would have someone else do it. It is not fun.

Oil pressure is a piece of cake. You need a 24mm deep socket for it if I recall correctly. Disconect the negative battery terminal too, since it is very near the starter.

right side valve cover is easy, the left side is not so easy.........the intake manifold partially covers it.

  5. a shop doing yer RMS? prolly in the ballpark of $300-500 it's a dirt cheap part, but the labor to pull the trans n do the work is a PITA. BUT, IS doable by yourself if you are mechanically inclined.

best bet to is to check out the classifieds on here for a gauge cluster... you don't even wanna know what they charge for a new cluster...... :nono:

RMS is rated at 8.5 hours on a 4x4 pathfinder.........

  6. why do they say 93-95 on that ebay site? i have a 92 and the tail lights look identical to a '95. think they would fit on my 92 pathy. dont see why they wouldnt i thought all the WD21 pathys (90-95) had identical body styles. anyone got these guards from this guy on ebay on an earlier than 93 pathy?

    Rich

Lamp assembly doest change from year to year, you are correct. It will work.

Just because he is selling it doenst mean he knows what it is.....

  7. Right on, I looked through ebay and did not see those. I just ordered them, How was the install pretty straight forward?

    Thanks for looking out.

Assuming he sends you the same thing he sent me.....

One phillips head screwdriver and about 15-20 minutes. very, very easy. One problem witht he kit I got was it had 4 screws in the bag not 6. (comes with longer ones to replace the ones already in there) , there are 6 back there, 3 on each light. so I had to go rummage thorugh the shop to find two more.

  8. Just a thought, when I havent used mine in a while, I have to let the rear motor pump a few times by just holding it on, to get the fluid to pump/draw to the back. (I guess it evaporates in the line in the heat here in TX over time) Then it works just fine.

mine is doing the same thing. I have not got around to looking at it yet. Let me know how this turns out for you.

  9. Coolant Temperature Sensor

Its about 2.5 inches long. IT sits on top of the water intake up front on the right of the engine (drivers right). The original factory sensor should have a blue plug on the end. IT is up front and on top

Should cost about $35 from a dealership.

Assuming you have a VG30 engine the old part number is 22630-V5010 but there was a part supersession and I think the new number is 22630-51E02.

Any dealers computer will show the new part number.

The one from the dealer comes also with the copper O ring for it.

The new part number for the senosr is 22630-51E02

  10. All WD21 have rear only ABS. It is designed to kick in when the Pathy is pulling a trailer and there is weight on the rear to stop teh truck from fish-tailing, so its probably programed at a very high rate to activate.

Oh, and you have ABS. It's rear only. There was no 4 wheel ABS on WD21's. I've never felt mine kick in either.

    Ambient Air Temperature Sensor

    Coolant Temperature Sensor

    Ignition Air Cleaner Temperature Sensor

    Wich one could it be?

I want to say the coolant one because it is the cheapest.

    Please help one more time.
