yeah i just joined there, no idea where those places are but if it's a trail i can handle i would make the trip.

Hey everybody is there a place to wheel around southwestern ontario or even like north of toronto or sumthing, i'm just itchin to try out my 4 wheel drive before the winter

how can i figure out if i have an lsd rear end? it's a 98 pathfinder le. oh i like the vq engine but the vg33 suits me just fine too

the reason why that happened is because they dont have white letter imho. j/k i was looking at getting the revos i'll take your experience into consideration

no... of course not... i usually dont come home at all lol. no it's just really annoying maybe if it wasn't so loud

yes its starting to get annoying the lock is fine but the unlock seems to be at a louder pitch, not cool when parked in a garage

I think so it looks the same as the ones for sale on ebay etc.. Here are some pics of it. Sorry about them being fuzzy. The buttons are from the top down: LOCK UNLOCK STAR(*) POUND SIGN (#)

could be the solenoid in the starter not moving out into the crank or not lining up properly. Sometime if when the brake is applied shift from park to neutral and back to move the teeth ever so slightly and align the the solenoid. Also the wire connection on the starter tend to deteriorate quickly being near the road.

yeah theres nothing on the back, i held them untill the lights flash and the horn goes off which is longer than if i was just locking or unlocking it. After the horn when i press a button it still chirps

Hey, I've tried searching for this topic on Google and the forums with no luck. I was wondering if there is a way to disable the chirp confirmation when I lock or unlock the pathy. It's a 1998 LE with the factory alarm system. I've tried pressing the lock and unlock buttons at the same time as it said it works on most Nissan but it didn't with the Pathfinder. Thanks again

maybe if there weren't so many holes in the frame they wouldn't rust out

would this problem also apply to a 2003 infiniti g35 it's the same engine right?

yeah i thought something was odd, funny thing is it just passed safety with no problems. On an unrealted matter there is a scratch in the plastic glass that is infront of the gauge cluster, are there any products that would take it out. I've seen meguiars plastic x for headlights would that work. thansk

Hey guys, The exhaust system on my 98 pathy is pretty rusted and is making rattling noises. I was just wondering what is the price to have it all redone at midas or the mufflerman, any specific parts needed. Also my pathy does not have a catalyitic converter?!?! Thanks

yeah i would like to do all that so i don't have to worry about it, plus i want to take in on some trips this year so it would be a good idea. It was the whole reason on getting it. That and the 4wd. I bought it from the dealership but i'm pretty sure they can't do that, they don't even own a computer (it's a rural community) but i'm sure its been serviced regularily. If not nows a great time to start.

sounds resonable, i guess this thread should be in the garage oops! I was reading through the manual onlince and in the service section is says that at 48,000 km the spark plugs should be changed. Any specific brands that you guys like or that work well with this engine thanks.
