I personally wouldn't cut it but I can't say I know anyone who has cut one either I'm sure it may have been done I just haven't heard of one though.I would say look for one in that type of style or possible put one together on your own to the style you like. That's just my personal opinion though there may be someone else here in the forums that knows better then me or has some input on your question. I would also type in the search section see if you can find anything there if not maybe start up a topic & see what the others have to say as well. They always have some good input & are very helpful & knowledgeable. If you do decide to cut it let me know how it goes & what you think about it. Sorry I couldn't be of better help on your question for you.

I have a Safari Snorkel on my WD21 which isn't to bulky like some I have saw & I would also recommend ARB Differential Breather Kit gets mounted at highest location you have on your vehicle which I have on my WD21 as well with lines hooked up to it for my Front & Rear Diffs, Transfer Case & Transmission which will help for water getting into them. Sorry to hear of the loss from this.

I love having the Warn Manual Locking hubs on it makes a world of difference in my opinion personally only thing is you just have to get in & out to lock them in place but not like that is a big deal to do though. Plus this way you know you are locked in & that you are unlocked when getting in & out of 4WD where as I believe with the Auto's they are always locked in place if I remember right. Also would recommend getting longer bolts with lock washers added on to keep bolts locked in place because they seem to come loose on a lot of people. I didn't think I had that problem with mine until after driving it for a lot of miles & ended up having a couple come rather loose & ended up loosing one completely too. So seems like that is common issue there. Other then that IIn my opinion hands down best thing I did was get rid of the Automatic Hubs for the Warns.
  5. I found the reducer in my box of parts that I got from PO which was good to see it was in them so just got it installed the rest of the way this past weekend. Haven't noticed to much of a difference yet with it except for that whistling noise coming from it.
  6. Right no doubt on that & I will have to check & see what else there is in the bag of parts for the snorkel & see if that reducer is in it too I know there was a clamp for the tube but don't recall what else was in it.
  7. That makes sense but I was under the impression that you had to lose the air filter box when it was hooked up at least that's what the PO told me when I bought the pathfinder. So how do you run it with the box still connected?
  8. Nice! I honestly haven't tested mine out yet either & need to hook it back up rest of the way again too still wondering if it needs some sort of filter in it too which didn't come with one but kinda curious on that though & wanting to go test it out soon. I have 3 center caps for them but I think I like them better without the center caps personally.

Couple pics of the 92 after I blacked out the Lego's, Installed Warn Premium Manual Locking Hubs, Installed new Torsion Bars, Rear Springs, Upper Control Arms, Front & Rear Shocks Replaced with Rancho 9000XL's, got my external transmission cooler mounted just need to run the new lines to it, need to install my ARB Differential Breather Kit & run new lines to it. Also trying to decide on the best place to mount my Widow Maker & best way to Secure it in place. Wanting to go with a SAS but for now looking at options for steering stabilizer & seeing how to install it. Right now I have a steering Stabilizer Kit from 4x4auto with Rancho 7000MT Series 7402 Shock which came with truck when I bought it not yet installed. However it didn't have any paperwork showing how to install this & I haven't done one before. I went on Rancho's site & it says the 7402 isn't compatible with my 1992 Pathfinder & on the 4x4auto site that with the kit it will work so I am not sure what to go by for this or if I should just look into a different option & steering stabilizer instead since right now SAS isn't in the budget.

  12. Thank you, It was very nice to do just that even had to stop in a few place along the way back home to hit some trails. By the time I got back to Colorado from California I had already put little over 3,300 miles on her so & the route i was taking back to Colorado was bout 1,400 miles so got to put on bout 1,900 miles or so of trails & the trek to get to the trails with no problems at all. Had I not flown out with bunch of tools & extras just in-case something were to happen I wouldn't have done that but glad I did because it was awesome to hit some spots I have never been & may not see again in the other states,
  13. I'll take a look out in the garage tomorrow morning for it. I used to have 2 of them but pretty sure I sold one of them awhile back so should still be 1 left. I will let you know after I check if I do still have it. If so I would be willing to send it out to you if you covered shipping & whatever you felt was fair for the part.

I can't speak for the manual 1995 XE 4x4 Pathfinder but my last 2 Pathfinders were both 1995 XE 4x4 Automatic which they both lasted quite awhile both of them with 300,000 plus miles on them so as long as you keep up on maintaining it I would say it would last awhile as long as there isn't anything serious wrong. Also depending on what the asking price is on it as well. Things to look for would be rust on frame especially in the rear of it which they are known for having. I see your located in California so you may not have the issue with rust out there if it has been there for the life of the Pathfinder. Still would check that out though they also have been known for having a hole rusting through floorboard near gas pedal caused from the exhaust. Along with known for exhaust manifold bolts breaking off in them being poor grade bolts this usually will have a slight ticking sound when running if you do purchase this I would suggest switching out the bolts & studs in the exhaust manifolds. There are posts here that will say which ones to replace them with I don't remember right off top of my head which ones work. Other then that I would check the usual stuff if any noticeable oil leaks suspension for any major problems. As I said I can't speak for the manual 95 XE but I am sure some others who know the manuals better will hopefully chime in as well. I know with both my auto's they were beasts when it came to wheeling & went over & through anything that I put them up against. In my opinion too I personally stick with the WD21's 1990-1995 Pathfinders which have lasted long time & I would say are great learning off roading & I used both mine as daily drivers as well. Hope this helps out post pics if you do end up buying it we all like to see pics as well.
  18. I would agree that they do look better then the Traditional spoke. I removed all the rest of the hub caps the other day when I put on my Warn Manual Locking Hubs. It just didn't look right with the one that it was already missing on it & I didn't want to keep looking at it every time .I left to go somewhere. So for now until I find another one to take the missing ones place the are just going to all be off. Which I may just keep them like this since I honestly do like the way they look on her.

There isn't much room at all in back that's for sure that was the nice thing with the two 95 Pathfinder's that I had was that the speakers were all up high & weren't on the floor like the 92 so is just a bit smaller with the back. I am going to be building an enclosed storage area in the back of mine that has a couple storage compartments & a pull out drawer in it also. with a cover on it that will match up with the dimensions for the back of the pathfinder. Will be keeping my tools that I always have in case i need them, survival things to last 3-5 days with emergency blanket, life straws, water, fire starter, junior machete, hand held radio, rope, food. few other things as well. Been wanting to do this so if someone were to look in the back it will just look like there isn't anything back there. I usually have a good amount of tools with me for work & when Wheeling so wanted to come up with a way to hide that stuff.
  20. The picture that had the car seat in were one of the pics taken from the old owner of the Pathfinder. So I can't answer this question you asked. My kids are a older 18, 6 7 so even the ones that still are required to be in a seat have a different type of seat then the one in the pic. I would imagine though there may be a little bit of wiggle from the car seat however unless it has a lot of wiggle going on with it I don't think it will be an issue & most car seats will have a tiny bit of wiggle from them but never anything bad. Sorry wasn't able to give you a good answer on this.
  21. I had the same bfg's on my 95 as well & they always treated me well. They do great in the snow & helped out on the drive from California to Colorado for sure.
  22. Not sure I would resort to it being the ecu just yet but that's just my opinion since could still check some other things before going to ecu change out route. Have you checked everything on back side of the cluster as well to make sure nothing was loose or not quite right?
  23. With my 95 XE I was having issues going over 20 mph & my rpm's would still go way high. Once speed sensor was replaced I was able to gain a little bit more speed but then I was not able to go over 3000 RPM such being stuck in Limp Home Mode found some bad wire connections fixed them up but mine is still a work in progress as I found much worse problems that needed addressed. I would suggest to follow your wiring looking for anything that looks bad or not right cracks or anything else. Would also check the Inhibitor Connector & wiring on my 1st 95 XE I also had these similar symptoms & it ended up being that the wires for the Inhibitor switch had melted to the exhaust manifold. So with them being melted to manifold ended up having wires exposed & in contact with other wires that became exposed as well. Once I got a new inhibitor switch & new wiring for it as well fixed my issues.The connection for inhibitor switch will run from under truck near transmission & transfer case & come up into engine compartment by the bell housing where it then plugs into connector alongside the passenger side wall of engine compartment I believe. May not be the case with yours but worth checking out to see since everything I have found with the way the wiring runs throughout is that it is either run in not the smartests of pathways or there is just not a lot of slack in wiring if ever need to make a repair.
