  1. How can I do the repair myself is there anyway I can give you my number or my email so I could possibly send you some pictures get some idea how to fix this
  2. Realized it was all caused by a failed strut tower driver side didnt see it when i bought car a month ago now i see body that holds strut shifted and rotted thru hitting into my master cylinder anybody have any ideas what to do?

I'll definitely take a ride over to Nissan I looked up the recall it says that they only covered up to so many years this is a 2002 200,000 miles on it but everything else perfect on the truck for the most part I just realize that that was the cause of all my problems pushing up on my master cylinder I thought I had to change that which I do if this gets fixed because my brakes were all screwed up my ball joints are bad I was just about to repair them but I realize the damage so before I do anything I have all the parts I'll go talk to Nissan
  4. I purchased this car about a month ago to Nissan Pathfinder 2002 just realized that my strut up touching my master cylinder has anybody ever had this fixed and if so how much did it cost what did they have to do I can send pictures to anybody

Will Nissan do anything about that since it was a recall the car is 15 years old is it worth fixing it is a good car and everything runs well I will send pictures on it's a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder SE with two hundred and two thousand miles on it. I don't know how to post pictures on here but if somebody gets back to me I can email it to you
  6. As far as the master cylinder there was no fluid in the mc didnt even look to check it when i bought car. I was in a rush to get on the road and it was cheap. Everything seemed ok but the low peddle i figured id just change pads add some fluid and id be good then after pads where done i notice no fluid in mc i added the next day i added again i. I notice the leak coming from mc. I do know how to do alot of things on car im pretty fast just im not a mechanic and never did certain things this web site is a savior. Money is tight. Im ordering everything i had parts i never got a chance to put on my other 02 like oil cooler seals and coil packs and plugs and cam and crank sensor. I drive alot about 250 to 500 miles a day so i tey to keep up on it i trust these cars i never broke down and if it acted up i oulled over ahut it off and started it again and was always able to get home to repair. This truck has oil leak bad mc,ball joints bearing bad tie rods and maybe bad rack and pinion or maybe its just ball joints in such bad shape not really jard jobs any of it but i had surgery on both arms forearms its hard for me to do things without help. And im playing catch up on bills since in hospital 8 months. And weather sucks in ny right now

By the way, on my other Pathfinder the O2 that I crashed I put 50,000 miles on it in 6 months and besides a set of tires oil changes 1 U joint and my rear trailing arms even ran like a charm after the accident but I junked it. When I bought it it was a salvage title I buy these cars strictly to put miles on them because I trust them just maintain it and this thing will never fail you
  10. I'm on my third Pathfinder My 92 rotted out. My 02 crashed and i boight another i put 5000 miles on mins this month it does suck gas but never fails me. If you need to do any work before you go change your plugs and coil packs and change three sensors your crank position sensor and cam position sensors two of them other than that they burn oil so check it every thousand miles mine Burns bad Accord every 500 to 600 I just got the parts which cost me $12 and will take up about 30 minutes my time maybe even less it's the oil cooler seals
  11. Do you know what tools exactly I need to pick up I don't know what you mean by punches also you said bearings and racers what's a racer. If you could tell me the exact punch I'll have to get from Harbor Freight I appreciate it I have never used one I'm guessing that come out easily

I'm getting vibrations down there and I have a feeling that it may have done some damage to the hubs I figured I just replace them and I've never done bearings before so I don't know how they come if they come already installed in the hub or if I have to get each piece individually I'm about to change the ball joints and the inner and outer tie rods also I have to change my master cylinder cuz I'm not breaking properly and I'm getting a lot of vibration right after I changed my brake pads I just bought this car I figured the brake pedal was low because I needed pads so I put them on after I put them on I realize that my master cylinder was low so I added fluid and realize that it was leaking but what's weird is after I put the new brake pads on it's almost as if it made my rotors Warp luckily I didn't put the new rotors on it yet because I knew I had to get ball joints and everything else when I took off the tire
  14. Does anybody know where to get cheap hub assemblies and let me ask you when you buy them does it come with the inner and outer bearing or do I have to buy them separate

This is my third Pathfinder they definitely Trust but this one is pretty good I just got it I paid $1,300 for it I've already put 5000 miles on it and really no problems but what I told you I bought the ball joints I have inner and outer tie rods I have new brake pads on there now have to get a new master cylinder I bought some bushings sway bar stabilizer bar for the front I really appreciate everybody's help I'll let you know what the outcome is when I change these parts
  16. Make sure you have enough brake fluid in the master cylinder make sure it's not leaking mine is bad right now I have to change it

What not to do is put a key in that doesn't have the chip otherwise you'll have to go through the remote reprogramming putting the key in and out 10 times within 10 seconds or six times whatever it is then turning me on don't forget to lock your doors when you get in first before you start that then press eat remote once and turn the ignition off and lock the doors I'm sorry unlock the doors I just don't do it don't try to start your car with a key with no programming otherwise you got to go and do the whole thing over the car won't start it just keep cranking and then when you go to put the good key in with the chip that does work it won't work so you have to reprogram it

Can someone tell me if I buy a hub the complete assembly does that come with inner and outer bearings or do I have to buy the inner bearing separate and does anybody know where I could get them cheap every place I see either that doesn't have one for an 02 Pathfinder or they want over 200 a piece. I know somebody's got to happen out there for 50 bucks or around that
  19. How to replace my exhaust pipe a few days ago and had it up on the left and was looking at my book and I could see the boots I'm totally separated from the ball joint I had to play on the 12 and 6 of The Rim and also on the 9 and 3
  20. I just had my tires replaced and my brake pads replaced a week ago so I know it's not my tires I know what a bit balance feels like it's not that

I drive about 2 to 3 hundred miles everyday I just bought this thing it's my second one I love them even though they leak oil it's a strong motor and I trust it yesterday I was driving and I started to feel a vibration on the highway at 65 miles per hour I feel a little vibration for about 4 seconds each time on and off so meaning 4 seconds I wouldn't feel it and 4 second I would feel it. Today I'm driving and at about 50 miles per hour I started to feel it a little bit 55 miles per hour a little bit more I know I have to change my ball joint I was about to anyway and my tie rod what do you think I need a wheel bearing to has anybody had those symptoms before if so what could it be I was going to change the part anyway I'm 500 miles from home do you think I'll make it I am far from Rich I was in the hospital sick for 8 months almost everything I drive straight when this happens
