  1. Hey, curious question here....could someone take parts from a QX4 and swap them into a Pathfinder? Would the wiring harnesses match up? Specifically I'm thinking about the heated seats....stereo and climate controls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I got the front end off the ground today.....the CV's do bind at full droop. I'll just be very careful not to get to a full droop scenario if going off road. Sigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. How'd you mount the light bar? Photos? I just mounted mine and and not 100% happy with placement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I have manual hubs. He got everything aligned, also with 1.75 degree bolts.....don't know which hole he put them in though. You say no need for different control arms, but does anyone make them? I'll check it at full droop this weekend and see how bad it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So some of you may have seen my post in the "What Did You Do to Your Pathfinder" topic......I had a lot of work done on my front end this past weekend which included the addition of some Fleury's spacers (1.5" Front and 1" Rear). This is in addition to an OME Spring + Shock/Strut lift I had previously done. So I dropped her off for a wheel alignment this morning. When I picked it up this afternoon, the following "recommendation" was on the bill: I talked to the guy for a bit. He thinks the angles on the CV joints are too extreme and also mentioned that if he were me, he would get custom or aftermarket lower control arms that would better suit the lift. What have you experienced with these issues? Are there aftermarket control arms or different CVs available for R50 pathfinders? My next upgrade plan was going to be a set of 'offset' rims(and maybe...maybe bigger tires). If I get some rims that will offset the wheels and make my stance wider, will that help with the angles on the CVs? It's a lot of of questions.....I'm just worried I'm going to do more damage. 6. Pretty much overhauled the entire front end this past weekend. New tie-rods and end links, ball joints, bushings, CV shafts, front diff seals, brake rotors, brake calipers, bearings, manual hubs, and upgraded to OME struts to match the OME springs that were previously installed. Also installed a set of fleury spacers front and rear for some additional fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Here are some photos of the front lights I've installed. Haven't finished installing the switches. One of them is binding on some plastic as I insert it. Need to file that down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Oh wow. Thanks! This is awesome. I don't quite understand it all yet, but I'm going to have a good hard look after work tonight. Question regarding ARB rocker switches (is this what you mean by SPDT rocker switches?)......terminal 6 (see below)....can be jumpered or it can be wired to the dash light circuit.....im assuming this is to make the lights on the switch dimmavle. Where do I find this dash light wire on our pathfinders? I've installed my switches in the cut outs below the radio. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It shouldn't be too hard. If someone could give an example with a simple circuit diagram I think I could figure it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I am new to electrical wiring. I have recently installed and wired an LED bar on my front bumper as well as two pods on my roof racks. They are awesome! I learned quite a lot about wiring by going through the installation of these lights. Next I'd like to tackle my rear. I can't stand how dim the reverse lights are on my Pathfinder. I live in a rural area where there are but a few street lights, and I often find myself having to back down very long dark driveways. I would like to mount two more pods on the rear that come on when in reverse. Which should be pretty easy. What I'm wondering is whether I can do this but also have the ability to manually turn them on via a switch so that I can use them as work lights. Is this doable? I'd appreciate your thoughts and any help on how to do this. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have been thinking about after market front and rear bumpers lately. I was hoping people could post photos of their after market bumpers....home made or not, steel or aluminum. I just want to get a sense of designs and ideas. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have a similar issue. Try disconnecting and plugging the vacuum lines from the EGR. I did that and the problem went away. I'm leaving it disconnected until I can get in and replace or clean the EGR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ok. Sweet. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Will the alignment shop near my house know what to order? I'm pretty confused by all of this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey, I have an OME lift in already, planning on adding some Fleury spacers in the near future. From what I understand, with the combination I will need longer Camber Bolts. Any suggestions on where to purchase these bolts online? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Let me know when I can place an order. Looking forward. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yes!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hey Fleury, I too am ready to do some suspension upgrade and am eagerly holding off until you are back up and running. I'm more than happy waiting......just curious if you have an updated ETA? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. How much time does a rotor and caliber change take roughly? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Please bare with me if this is a dumb question. I'm going to attempt to change my front brake Rotors soon. I've never attempted to change Rotors before. Will I need to take my Warn manual hubs off (apart) in order to get the Rotors off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, I have a vacuum pump. EGR holds vacuum. Just sticks open from time to time and the engine begins to idle....lumpy/lopey.....not sure what the best term is. Slightly tough. If I disconnect and plug the vacuum line it goes away. It looks like a big job to take it off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Only issue I'm having is the EGR valve is sticking open from time to time......was under the impression that this could be due to carbon buildup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That little eh? Wow. Okay. I'm going to give it a go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. So how much water would one suck into a vacuum line at a time? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
