  1. Or spend the $200 on UCA's and $20 on the JGC coils and get 3" that will last forever and not wear out ball joints
  2. No way that there are factory suspension bits at 300k lol. But if you are completely redoing it, I would look into BL, SL, rear disk upgrade, second battery for accessories, oil filter relocate, oil temp gauge, front end rebuild, poly bushings around, and re-undercoat.
  3. Usually, when you are looking to strengthen the suspension is point at which you save the headache of trying to fab parts for the factory setup and you just go SAS. As far as I know or have heard about, there are no aftermarket adjusters, just T-bars from Sway-Away. Warm welcomes is what we are good at. We're even better at keeping you here
  4. Isn't it awesome to find these things out? Everytime you order parts is like Christmas
  5. Ooooohhhh you meant the trim between the front and rear door. I read your post as between the door and fender haha. I'm actually sitting in my car now. So when you routed up the a-pillar, did you remove the dash and dash hood, just the dash, or no dash removal and just the pillar trim?
  6. Wait, you're serious?!?! I usually replace a clutch every 120k!!! And factory shocks and struts??? Thing must roll down the road like a roller-coaster!
  7. Graduated to NPORA "Regular" status... woot. Just wanted to thank you all right off the bat for being so helpful and making the Pathfinder community feel so inviting

  8. Also, another note, feel free to post a "hello thread" in the welcome section here http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/forum/19-new-people-start-here/ It'd be cool if you started a thread for your truck in the "members rides section," as things tend to get lost in the garage and year specific threads! http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/forum/53-members-rides/ PS.
  9. Haha yea, I quoted myself from another thread because I realized that I posted in the wrong thread. Do wish for that delete feature sometimes.... I have considered running it up between doors, but then I would have wires sneaking around outside of the body. I was hoping to run the wiring for the roof CB and lights through a hole hidden by one of the rubber feet of the Xterra rack, so that I could make things as clean and aero-friendly as possible (joke on that last part) Wish I could like your post more than once.....
  10. Factory clutch too? Factory clutch, tires, brakes and shocks too? What all have you replaced/ rebuilt?
  11. Thanks though. When I searched "a-pillars," all I found was stuff about speakers and gauge pods.
  12. Anybody have any hints as to how I can run wires from the fuse box area up to AND through the a-pillar/ a-pillar trim and have it look nice? Wires need to go all the way up to headliner.. Maybe somebody who has done the vanity mirror and map light swap? Tungsten?
  13. Started pulling the headliner and A-pillar trim in prep for my Xterra roof rack install. Thinking about also running some wiring for lights on the rack windscreen through the pillar trim, in addition to running wires for the fuzz buster from the fuse box to above the mirror. So far , PITA. Also considering running my CB coax for a roof antenna through this path, as well as re-routing the coax for my 9ft whip through the headliner so that I can mount CB overhead....
  14. Hail Alkorahil, parts guru (which should be his Title, instead of NPORA Old-Timer)
  15. Hey man, if it's drivable, hit up your local JY and just nab a fender, lamps/markers. Be glad that it didn't hit the center of the grille, or you'd have a bent radiator and a hood that doesn't sit flush anymore. You can do it, don't stress.
  16. So in terms of the stuff that I need for this change... The manual doesnt exactly go into specifics, and I have yet to see any other threads asking for supplies for a change at 60k. I'm currently in the process of pricing out the following parts: Nissan Dealership sourced: (T-belt, water-pump gasket, water pump studs, t-stat). I know that I need to get a water pump too, but I don't feel like donating $148 to the stealership for a Nissan one. Apart from the obvious ebay or google answer, any suggestions on a reliable alternative to the dealership water pump? The stuff above is what I'm planning on getting, but I'll leave it up to you guys as to whether or not I should get things like cam/crank gaskets, t-stat gaskets, rad hoses, ect. Suggestions and ideas welcome
  17. I've come to find that people enjoy it when it bounces up toward the sky at night. Its a way to test their reflexes, and I feel that they might even thank me!
  18. Picked up the headlight that keeps falling out off the ground and shoved it back where it belongs
  19. I swear, sometimes my Pathfinder gives me that look that says "yes, I know I'm tararded" and I just shake my head

  20. Rockin' that 78,000 on the clock, 91 XE.
