Hi aussieterrano, I've found that that's normal for the TD27/auto combo, easing off the gas usually makes it slip into next gear and gives a bit more acceleration but dont expect much out of a 23 year old engine with under 100hp

http://www.4x4design.com/Home_Page.php is fleurys web shop or you could probably just message him on here like you do for his stickers

And I can say from personal experience your great to deal with mate

Agreed, if it's just a bit of surface rust and they aren't sagging then it's a waste of money replacing them when a sand and re-coat will do the job
-
I'd suggest checking ball joints, tie rods, centerlink first, one (or more of them) is probably responsible for the slack,I had similar play before replacing all of them, once there right then my next bet would be a wheel alignment

Put my NPORA stickers on

The Dynapro MT are a good choice as well and are quiet for a mud tire, been running them for a few months now and cant hear them at all although that could be down to having the diesel and a decent sound system

I will be, just gotta find time when the hoist is free, probably be a few weeks as right now we're getting the race cars ready for a meet and thats a bit hectic when there's 4 of them lol
-
I've got access to a full race team workshop (we have 4 drag cars) so getting it out wont be a problem

-

-
drove a 400km round trip to buy a cheap trailer, handling beautifully since the ball joints/tie rods/centerlink were replaced and wheel alignment done
-

wheel alignment done, now drives straight

replaced all 4 ball joints, both tie rods (full rods were cheaper than just getting all 4 ends, go figure ) and centerlink. Visual alignment done till I can get it to the shop in the morning, steering wheel is a bit off center right now (about 45 degrees but the wheels are straight enough to get me to the shop tomorrow so all good
-
mounted 1 on the center console lid, screwed it onto a small piece of sheet meat (cut to fit from an old computer case) then epoxied that to the top of the console lid. took a bit of getting use to as it sits a bit further back than is natural but is fine now i'm use to it
-
Ripped the rear weather shields off and sanded the (surface) rust off, hit it with wax and grease remover and will undercoat it later today when its cooler
-
Plastidipped wing mirrors and trim on rear hatch, will be doing wipers (front and rear) tomorrow if wind stays away
-
UHF and antenna installed, found my high pressure hose for power steering is split so time to get a new one as soon as the shop opens
