  1. The main thing here is you have to remove the coolant reservoir to gain more access to the sides, remove the top coolant hose out of the way and the bottom shroud must be unclipped and removed because it's wider at the bottom than the top piece, so you can clear it from the fan. I have the TD27 motor though, which is probably why it's easier for me to remove. Also I cleaned the shroud off of the dust and grime since it was out. It's a lot easier to clean with it out of the engine bay!

  2. I managed to remove my shroud, it just has mms of clearance but it's possible.

First, remove top radiator hose and overflow coolant reservoir. Second, undo the four screws holding the fan shroud in place. Two on top corners, two on lower corners. It will be easier to remove base engine bash plate at this stage.

Then crawl under front of car, the shroud is in two pieces, snap fitted together. Feel halfway up the shroud and you'll find the little clippy things that hold them together. You have to squeeze one edge then push inwards and they pop out. It's a bit fiddly, I managed to break one of mine a bit because I was unsure of how they come apart. Once you have the bottom piece separated you can just drop it down and slide it out. The top part you should be able to manoeuvre out wiggling it slowly up and side to side. Just be careful. You might feel like the shroud is scraping the hell out of your radiator fins but it will be ok.

You dont remember where from do you? I need vents myself lol

Also try www.autopartsmate.com.au and look under Nissan parts. This is where I found my aftermarket tail lights. They are made by a company called REPO. I think they are based in Thailand. Anyway, autopartsmate imports them into Australia and the best part about it is free shipping anywhere in Australia.

  4. Get some rope, loop it though the metal latch just below your rear glass (it's the metal latch that pops your rear glass.) then you'll have to fold one of your rear seats down so you can lean in and secure the rope to one or both of the metal tie downs on your rear cargo floor, pulling the rear trunk lid down. Even better I would probably just wrap the rope around one of the rear head rests and make sure it's tight. This should ensure the trunk doesn't come open until you can get the damage fixed.

  5. Speaking of poltergeist activity, I remember back in 1996 I used to work at this old bakery. It was built back in the early 1950s and apparently during roof renovation work in the 1970s a guy fell to his death. Anyway since that time there had been reports of hauntings around the factory. One day one of my work colleagues came running in saying my car was beeping. It only happened when my car was parked at work. I also heard the footsteps in the hallway, when I was the only person left in the factory. Very spooky!

  6. Here is my center console fridge I installed, also has a warm function. I had to remove the whole center console and cut the back section off. Under neath the fridge I have a metal bracket which I measured and bent the end section over and screwed it into the existing left over plastic from the old console. I used two small angle brackets to secure it to the console where the original lid would have clipped in. Wiring is hidden under the console and works off the cig lighter.

  8. Differences in the Australian Terrano compared to the US Pathfinders is our speedo display is in km/h with no mph markings, the fuse box has all Japanese writing, same thing with the info pad under the windscreen visor, minor differences in center console too. Mine came with an after market coin holder next to the T shifter, not sure if it's a stock thing with all Terranos. The front indicator lamps on the corners are just parker lamps on the Australian ones but we have side indicators on the side fenders and two on the lower front inset into the front bumper. Rear lights are the same on both Terrano and Pathfinder.
