  1. Changed my (needless to say overdue) Compression rod bushes... counting my luck finding the sleeve had worn through to the rod but hadn't started wearing the rod itself! All back together and feeling much better.
  2. Haha yeah that stuff was like cement to get off though, was all over the inside of my wheels on way home and threw my wheel balance way off! Wobbling all over the show
  3. Took her out for a decent play, even the winch got a great workout.
  4. Big leagues you reckon? Gave it a good thrashing on the weekend outdrove a V8 Nissan Safari on one hill climb so no dramas there
  5. Sure it wasn't today but finished building, painting & fitting my completed winch bar
  6. Looking at getting some balljoint spacers fabricated up for the front of my truck (no more than 0.5") as they cost a fortune to get shipped & the Superlift arms are even worse for shipping. So I was wondering if anyone whom has done this has the dimensions or even a drawing that I can use to give my fabricator? I remember a while back someone made up some angled ones too? That could be the go maybe too I reckon. Thanks in Advance
  7. Even if it didn't I believe they're old enough now that you can get our gorgeous 2.7L Diesels imported over? Pretty sure I heard that somewhere.
  8. Yep over here the Diesel Terrano has R180/H233B combo. I've swapped the diff head out before for another H233B one so can definitely confirm that. Stopped putting the C200 in the rear in '90 for Terranos
  9. Probably sell it, you're welcome to it but bear in mind I'm on the other side of the ocean Yep the WD21 equivalent all bolts up the same. CVs are a 27 spline 6 bolt whereas the R200 Cvs are 28 spline 5 bolt though
  10. Transplant the whole Diff, CVs, Axles & Knuckles over. Want to modify a C200 Clutchpack LSD into it too, still rocking the R180 for now but gotta have a plan lined up.
  11. That's my aircraft engineer of a mate... pretty sure his hands are immune by this stage of his life If not they definitely are after yesterday!
  12. Began building my winch bar, still a fair bit of work to do but we at least got the winch mounted up today. Had to put bumper ends back on though to get it home. Tubing to come another day.
  13. See last months truck of the month for something to work towards with that colour truck. Same as mine [emoji6]
  14. Just an update if anyone is interested, tried my mate's R50 seats the other day... Runners are completely different so they won't swap over. A damn shame
  15. Spent yesterday stripping my mates parts R50 apart with him (he needed the panels and I rather fancied a spare turbo), turns out seats don't swap over into a WD21 though which was a bummer. Then today was spent working on Rino, she received a new CV boot, removed bull bar in preparation for new winch bar being made up in a couple of weeks & finally started running the hosing for my on board air tank.
  16. Welcome fellow kiwi! Let's start from the top, when was diesel filter last changed? Could be related if not for a while, I know my TD27 definitely runs rougher when it's time for a change. In fact a full filter change (air, diesel & oil) would probably be a good place to start.
  17. Got her aligned then home to adjust parking brake & give her a clean up
  18. Oops totally misread your post haha Missed the carrier part... Only read gears
  19. Na I'm talking like the whole diff housing & axles. Guys over here swap them out of V6 WD21s and put them in place of the R180s that come out in our Diesels but I wonder how different the entire R50 system would be to swap. Should arrive on the transporter tomorrow so I'm sure I'll soon find out!
  20. Needed to replace Idler Bearing and AC Belt so ripped all the other ones off and got it done. My AC pump actually runs as on-board air so I'd put it off for long enough
